Acorns to Oaks is an upscale children’s consignment event and expo held twice a year (spring and fall) which showcases gently-loved children’s items such as clothing ranging from newborn/preemie to child size 16, shoes, toys, books, games, CDs and DVDs, baby gear (strollers, highchairs, etc.), furniture, bedding, maternity wear, and much more. There will be special sections for holiday and boutique wear, sports and dance outfits and accessories, and school uniforms and materials. The fall 2012 sale will be held October 4-6 at the Bartow First Assembly of God in Bartow.

We can save lots of money by making the most of our reusable resources and give people who might not otherwise have the opportunity the chance to “recycle” clothing, toys, shoes, books, and more that their children once loved. Help protect the environment for our children’s future and get paid to save for your own!
LOVE! Acorns to Oaks has a heart for giving back to the community. Our Compassion Campaign focuses on giving back to specific charitable organizations in the community. For our fall sale, we have partnered with three different organizations. First, shoppers never have to pay an admission to shop, but we do ask that they bring a nonperishable food item to donate to Bartow First Assembly’s food pantry. Second, all unsold donated items will be donated to The Women’s Care Center of Bartow. Finally, we will have expo hours from 10 am to 1 pm on Friday and Saturday of the sale and will have a balloon artist, face painter, and more present for the little ones. All donations will be given to The Polk Project’s KidPack, an organization that aims to feed the 2,500+ homeless students each weekend right here in Polk County. KidPack will also be selling food and drinks on both Friday and Saturday outside to benefit their organization.
We can’t pull of an event of this magnitude without your help! Giving of your time is one of the most valuable contributions one can give, and we want to thank you for volunteering with Acorns to Oaks! As a token of our appreciation, our volunteers are able to shop early! You will receive a pass to shop our exclusive presale affording you an opportunity to pick from the thousands of items for sale and avoid long checkout lines during the general public sale. Many amazing vendors will be set up for the entire length of the sale for shoppers to be able to purchase items from some of their favorite companies. There will be purses, jewelry, candles, accessories, children’s books, and MUCH MORE! For those who don’t have children to buy for can still come and enjoy the many vendors.
The first 250 shoppers will also receive a gift bag packed full of incredible goodies including deals, coupons, gift cards, fun items, and more from our vendors and local businesses. It is definitely a treat!
