Simple Breakfast Sandwich in time for Back to School

Oh My! Where has time gone? Our Kids just went back to school and summer is officially over. I’m not ready, are you? We now have a Senior and a 4th grader. The 4th grader is also starting at a brand new school with new teachers, new students and a totally new routine.

While we have a brand new routine for everything, I wanted to keep a few things simple and somewhat familiar so that our morning routine, despite the early bus pickup, will stay the same. I will make sure everyone will grab a delicious breakfast before they head out the door. The best part is that I can prepare it ahead on Sunday for the entire week and then I don’t have to worry about it.

My kids love when I make egg sandwiches, and the best part is that they can be totally prepared ahead of time. I make up to 12, and I use pre-made waffles to make things a little easier for me, too.

A few of our favorite ingredients for the simple egg frittatas are:

  • Butterball® Ground Turkey
  • Cheese
  • Veggies like Tomatoes, Onions, Bell Peppers
  • Egg whites only
  • Eggs

Like I said, the Frittatas are totally customizable. We love to add a bunch of browned Butterball Ground Turkey, then add the veggies and cheese and add the egg; mix it all in a bowl and then pour into the cupcake pan. Once your cupcake pans are all filled, place them in the oven and voila! You will have 12 Frittatas in no time and breakfast ready for the week. If you leave the waffles off, the Frittatas will also be a great gluten free option.

I picked up all ingredients during my weekly shopping trip at Walmart, all the ingredients are easy to find and it is a one stop shop for me. Have you picked up the Butterball Ground Turkey for your breakfast dishes yet?

We love to add it to many breakfast items like Burritos or just scrambled eggs. It’s just so versatile and can be used in a variety of recipes. It makes me feel good knowing that the Butterball Ground Turkey is all natural with no artificial ingredients. I love that Butterball ground turkey is great for quick weeknight dinners, as well, and is lower in fat and calories than ground beef, making it a better alternative.

Will all this convenience, it’s easy to dish up a delicious breakfast for your family in no time, no matter what your morning routine is. I would love to hear your breakfast routine and meal ideas. Leave me a comment below and maybe tell me how you would include Butterball® Ground Turkey in your Meal Plan for next week.

For more recipe inspiration, be sure to visit Butterball you can also grab a coupon to save $1.00 on any ONE (1) package of Butterball Ground Turkey ~ Expires 10/31 or while supplies last.

Happy Back to School…. Make it an awesome year !

I have never made these before. I bet that my kids would like them with the added waffles. I could even make my own with gluten free flour so that the recipe could still be gluten free! #client
