Simple snack ideas for your Friendsgiving snack ideas

With Thanksgiving fast approaching and everyone being super busy preparing the big Thanksgiving meal for the family, I thought it would be super fun and a little relaxing if I host a “Friendsgiving” this year for all my friends. Something simple, something fun and something where no one will judge but have fun.

We are always so stressed over the holidays and hardly have time to enjoy what’s most important so this year I took some time out of my busy schedule and had a Friendsgiving early for some of my local friends.

enjoy your friends and family this Friendsgiving

You should have your very own Friendsgiving, trust me it will give you energy to prepare for the big Turkey day. You will have time to laugh, to listen, to talk and just be yourself surrounded by all the people that you love and cherish and just never get enough time to hang out with.

My 5 simple Party Tips

  1. Keep the menu simple. It’s suppose to be a fun and stressless time and everyone will enjoy finger foods. Stay with the fruit & Veggie platter, store bought cakes, cupcakes, crackers and cookies will be your best friend.
  2. Move some furniture around to make a small space appear large for all your friends to hang out together and have a good ol
  3. time. My house is very small, but we will pull chairs and pillows from all over the house and just make it a big area where everyone can hang out and enjoy the company.
  4. Visit your local dollar store, it will be your next best friend. From plates and cups to even some decor, you will find everything you need, affordable and easy, what more do you want?
  5. Remember your friends will come over to spend time with YOU!! Don’t worry about getting everything perfect and getting the food, the house and the kids just perfect. No one is so just let it go and have the best time you ever had!!!

There you have a few of my simple and affordable tips that should make your Friendsgiving an amazing event that you will look forward to year after year. Make it a new tradition and treasure your friends.

Simple Party tips to enjoy your friends and family

I couldn’t finish the evening without sharing a wonderful finger food creation that takes no time and can be done in 3 simple 5 minute steps. Your friends will rave and think you spend hours in the kitchen.

I served a simple drink for the adults at my party, Orange Juice and some sparkling wine, love it, it’s easy to make and the perfect drink for a party with friends, for the kids I offered Apple Cider, after all it is fall, right?

Keep your Friendsgiving snacks simple

My Veggie and Cheese tray was super easy to put together and I just used our favorite dressing as a dip, can’t get any easier then that and everyone loved it. I also stocked up on NABISCO crackers at Publix since they had a great deal and still do, so be sure to check out how you can save on your favorite NABISCO cracker and cookies the next time you shop at your Publix, where shopping is truly pleasure.

Your holiday party spread looks amazing! It’s making my stomach grumble a little bit. LOL! I am having my first Thanksgiving as a divorcee this year and I am skipping the Thanksgiving with the family and running off to have a Friendsgiving with my pals in Germany. 🙂

I’ve never had a friendsgiving, but I’ve heard of people doing them the last couple of years. Those bites look delicious and it’s not even Thanksgiving yet! I would actually try them with the cranberry. lol
