WOW… have you checked the calendar lately? Somehow we are in November and the holidays are upon us. Have you made plans for your Thanksgiving or Christmas gatherings yet? I plan on spending some time with my family and friends creating new traditions.

This year we are rotating and spending an evening at a different friend’s house, once a week. Enjoying the company, talking and enjoying a peaceful, simple and delicious meal. Just so we all can relax and have a good time outside the hustle and bustle that the holidays will bring.

My turn is coming up to host my friends for dinner and while I shopped at Walmart the other day for all the ingredients for my Simple Pasta Dish with a Red Wine Tomato Sauce, I found that my favorite Pasta brand “Barilla” has a new product. Barilla Pronto!

#HolidayPairings shopping

As a busy mom I love to save time and still dish up a delicious meal and this works well for my friends, too. I love that Barilla Pronto can be cooked in about 10 minutes for the entire box, start to finish and no draining or rinsing, just add your sauce, Barilla Pasta Sauce or my homemade Tomato Sauce and call it dinner! It’s that simple!

Make a great Dinner in minutes #HolidayPairings

I just had to share with you how easy it was to prepare my Simple Pasta Dish and even after a stressful day at the office I can dish up a flavorful and delicious dinner for more than my family in under 30 minutes, all in one pot. My family loved it when I did a trial run and I know my friends will enjoy it even more and will love that I can spend the extra time with them sipping on some  Mark West Wine Pinot Noir wine while snacking on the Pepperidge Farm Cookie Collection.

enjoy your #HolidayPairings and take a me time

I love cooking with wine, it’s such an amazing taste and flavor and you can sip a glass or two while cooking and enjoying your friends or family. Check out my recipe creation below and wow your family and friends with my simple easy, delicious and fast dinner idea.

This is what you need to make your #HolidayPairings a simple Tomato Sauce Simple Pasta Dinner Red Wine Tomato sauce #Recipe card Barilla minute pasta is so easy and turns out perfect in just minutes Enjoy the #HolidayPairings My #HolidayPairings are a perfect #Recipe idea for the busy season

Wasn’t this easy? One box of Barilla Pronto Pasta should be cooked in 3 cups water/broth and will take about 10 minutes and it’s done. No draining and rinsing, it’s simple as that! I loved how the pasta turned out and to be honest on my first go around with the pasta I set my timer and after about 7 minutes I looked and wasn’t sure if I needed extra time since each stove is different, but right at 10 minutes when my alarm went off, the pasta was perfectly cooked and done! Just the way I like it, al dente. You can add In the last 1-2 minutes of cooking time, 1 cup of liquid, such as cream gravy to create a different dish every time.

Wine and cooking what can be better #HolidayPairings

My Tomatoe Sauce was cooked in the same 10 minutes, so dinner was ready to serve in 10-15 minutes if you take the prep time in consideration. WOW! That for a party, can’t beat that! Like I said, you could use the pre-made Barilla Tomato Sauce and serve up a delicious fast dinner, too.

Homemade Tomato Sauce and Minute Pasta are the perfect #HolidayPairings

As you can see in three different products I was able to create a fun event for my family and friends to hang out together and just relax and enjoy the holiday season. Very affordable and very easy, I was able to dish up enough for 6 adults to eat, serve with salad or garlic bread if you like.

You can serve the Wine as a Welcome drink, during dinner as well as after dinner with the Pepperidge Farm Cookie Collection to make it a fun filled evening.

Adding wine to pasta sauce gives the whole dish such great flavor. I love that I can duplicate this dinner (or keep it on hand for unexpected hosting) with one quick trip to Walmart. [client]
