Simple way to decorate your house with Kohl’s for #Fall that won’t break the bank #DIY

Simple way to decorate your house with Kohls that won't break the bank #DIY

Fall is my favorite time of the year and decorating is one of my passions; however I really don’t want to break the bank to have a cozy “fallish” home. My favorite store to look for accessories is Kohl’s; Yes… By all the stores out there Kohl’s is my favorite store. The price is right, the quality is superb and the selection is excellent. Plus Kohl’s always has amazing offers like spend $50 get $10 Kohl’s Bucks or other amazing offers making it even more affordable to shop and accessories your house in style.

I found a few items on my last trip to Kohl’s and just wanted to share with you how simple it can be and what a difference a few items will make. I always look for items that are fun, affordable and can be used most of the year and then I throw in a few “season” specific items to complete the look.

I’m totally into decorating the Vintage and metal style; I’m sure most of you are on the same wagon and love the look. The nice part is that it can easy adapt to your likes and color choices. A small change like adding a curtain or a lantern will make a big impact and makes your home feel like a new place. It’s that simple.

I found the Park B. Smith Suzani Window Panel in three different colors and the orange got me hooked. I’m totally in love with anything orange for months now and since my kitchen is green and orange they were the perfect fit as a nice pop of fall color and also a nice divider between the dining area and the family room; I can close the curtains if I like some space or leave them open, just totally LOVE the Vintage curtain look and the best part, they come as a set in the package; you don’t have to buy each panel separate. I loved that. It drives me crazy when I have to buy each panel separate. HELLO… most people always need two curtains to make the look complete. The curtains fit well now during fall but will also look great anytime of the year; they can be washed and that makes it even easier.

I also love to accessorize with pictures; they don’t always have to hang on the wall; stand them on your dresser, counter or cabinet and you will get a great focal point. I love Sunflowers and they don’t have to be just a summer décor; pair them with some fall accessorize like scarecrows and pumpkins and they look right at home. Kohl’s had a lot of different Sunflower prints and this one caught my eye; I can keep it out year round and pair it with different accessories and make the room feel cozy.

I’m totally hocked on Lanterns in all shapes, colors and sizes, are you, too?? Lanterns are the perfect accessory year round and will fit any style in your home. I love to add fall décor or Christmas decor , add a candle or just fill them with different things; some are small, some are big, but they all fit well and look amazing and homey. Have you caught the Lantern bug yet? How do you use them in your home? Kohl’s had a wonderful selection and I fell in love with the BIG Lantern; I can’t wait to come up with different ways throughout the year to fill it and make part of my décor. Isn’t it beautiful? Sturdy and very good quality, you could even burn a real candle inside without worries (Supervision is of course required).

On my stroll through the store I also found a Fox statue. I walked by it a few times, it was kind of cute, but I hardly ever buy a piece of décor that I don’t have to accessories up and dress up; so I wasn’t too sure about the Fox. After a few trips back and forth and seeing that he was on sale I splurged and took him home. Really glad that I did… He fits perfect on my table next to my fall décor basket. I’m loving my Fox décor now and glad I took a different décor approach. Lesson learned…. never be afraid of an item that you like, it will always work out. Mr. Fox isn’t just a fall item, I can keep him on my table for Winter, Spring and even summer if I pair him with different Seasonal accessories, so he will never end up in a dark box and just come out for a season. Love the idea now and isn’t he cute?

I couldn’t leave Kohl’s without grabbing a few fall specific items, after all Pumpkins are my favorite  and yes.. I can’t keep them out all year long, but it will set the fall feeling in  the house and will pair nicely with all the other accessories. I have a living room table that needed some fall loving’ and the ceramic pumpkin candle smelled amazing;  Pumpkin Patch aroma needed to come into my home, so it was not only cute but smelled and screamed fall… I just had to have it; however I couldn’t just grab one fall décor, no one wants to be alone, so when I saw the metal pumpkin candle holder, I was in love. Isn’t he cute? Love the way my table turned out, all with simple décor items that I found at Kohl’s. What do you think…..Like… ??

There you have it, simple ideas, simple décor products but if you put them all together you will get a beautify decorate home in no time; when shopping at Kohl’s you will save more money, so why not check it out next time you are near your Kohl’s and see what kind of damage fun things you can create in your home.

What product is your favorite? Would love to hear it….
Happy Fall Y’all

I am desperately looking for this fox and a search for it keeps bringing me to your site. Is there anyway you have the receipt with a SKU number or have the tag is still attached to the bottom to get me the information so I can contact Kohls directly. This was the one item I wanted for my birthday from my children this year. I didn’t realize Christmas decorations were going to be out so soon. Already three weeks ago that my Kohls had no signs of fall in Georgia 🙁

Sooo Sorry Julianna… I don’t have the SKU number left on mine… I just checked online and he is gone, too… 🙁 … if I ran across one at my Kohls I’ll get the info for you… Sure sad that they move it soo quickly…
