It’s Advent Season and this is my favorite time of the year. We always have lots of Family Holiday Ideas and traditions that we try to keep alive and share with my kids and even family and friends. Each year we make Graham Cracker Houses and a bunch of other simple snack ideas that the kids love to decorate themselves. It’s a wonderful time of the year, so grab a cup of hot tea and hang out and see how simple a little family time can be.

You don’t even have to break your budget, all the items can be easily found at your local Walmart and if you print this coupon you can even save $0.50 when you buy one (1) Honey Maid Grahams (12.2 oz. or larger). Love when I can save money!

This is what you need to make your very own Graham Cracker Houses, they are so simple and can be decorated to everyone’s likes.

Let the kids help, put some aluminum foil on the table, add the Skippy Peanut Butter into a plastic freezer baggie, cut the very bottom tip off and it will make it easy to “glue” the houses together with the peanut butter, keeps your fingers neat and clean, too.

My daughter spread the peanut butter on the Honey Maid Graham Cracker halves and started to decorate with sprinkles, crushed candy canes and lots of other fun things I found around the house like chocolate morsels and marshmallows. We used small Teddy grahams as the tenants of the graham cracker house and all was “glued” down with the peanut butter. We had a blast!

This was the perfect activity for the entire family to celebrate the 1st Advent. While the kids made their own little graham cracker houses, I made some sweet treats for the kids to enjoy after the hard work is done. We love Peanut Butter & Graham Cracker Pops and they are so easy to make, check out our instructions below to make your very own. You will love them. They will go well for a party dessert, too.

I told you, the Peanut Butter & Graham Cookie pops are totally easy and everyone will enjoy eating them this holiday season. If you haven’t made them before, how about making these your new Family tradition and let the kids help. #CollectiveBias #PBandG

What did you use for the stick on peanut butter graham pops?

I used paper straws… didn’t have any lollipop sticks in the house and they worked great… you could cut them down, too.
