Hope you had a great holiday weekend a few weeks ago and spend much needed time with your family. I sure did, I love long weekends and the weather down here in Florida was beautiful, just picture perfect. I hung out by the pool almost every free minute, Strawberry Margarita in one hand and music playing. Just having a good ol’ time. Also a little housekeeping I may have affiliate links in the post, doesn’t hurt you in any way just helps my family out, that’s all. Thank you!!
Family time these days is rare, I’m sure it’s like that at your house, too. Like most weekends I like to make something sweet, special and delicious for my crew. Since we had company over for the 4th, I made these delicious Strawberry Margarita Cupcakes. My favorite drink is Strawberry Margarita so why not make that into a cupcake, right? Of Course the kids got the alcohol free version, just leave the alcohol out and make a batch or two just for them, they will get a kick out of the straw as a decoration, trust me. Mine loved it and the adults really loved the full Strawberry Margarita adult version.
It was different, but oh so good. Took me no time at all to make them and since they are so simple you can even make them a day ahead and bring them to your next cookout. I do want to warn you, they are very addictive, you may want to make an extra tray, just in case.
Did I promise too much? Aren’t they delicious? They look amazing and taste even better than that. You so have to try them. Certainly a nice treat during the dog days of summer and with Strawberry Season still going strong.
I love cupcakes, they are just the perfect gift, coffee break or just to satisfy that sweet tooth, they last for a long time in the fridge, unless someone eats them all and they are always welcome. Check out a few of my other creations below and be sure to bookmark them or Pin them so you can make them next weekend.
Would love to hear how you enjoyed these cupcakes or what kind your favorite is, leave me a comment below and let’s chat cupcakes.
That sums up my newest cupcake creation, hope you and your family had a wonderful 4th as well and stay tuned for many more crazy, unusual and delicious cupcake creations in the weeks to come. You never know how bored I can get sometimes and start baking away. Especially now that I have a few new kitchen gadgets to help me out like the Kitchen Aid Mixer I got for a steal or this awesome set of measuring cups and a few new cookbooks to get me some inspiration on creating my own cupcake creation ideas.
