Have you tried Nutella yet? Nutella is my all-time favorite breakfast item. Growing up in Germany we had this on almost every single breakfast toast, lunch bread and I remember a few times sneaking off to my room with the entire jar and a spoon….. boy did I love this stuff; Nutella is finally available in the US and if you haven’t tried it, you should defiantly check it out.

It’s a hazelnut chocolate spread that can be used for baking, on pastries, on toast and so many different recipes. Still to this day, when I need some comfort food from home quick, during my lunch hour I run to Publix pick up a jar of Nutella and a fresh loaf of bread and that is my lunch… I bet your little one would love to have “chocolate” bread for lunch, I know my boys always get asked to trade lunch with their friends on the days they bring Nutella J
Sunday Brunch today was no brainer, I love pancakes and I love Chocolate.. so this is simple

This is what you need for the Crepes:
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
This is how to make it:
- In large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted butter, flour sugar and salt until smooth.
- Heat a medium-sized skillet or crepe pan over medium heat. Grease pan with a small amount of butter or oil applied with a brush or paper towel. Using a serving spoon or small ladle, spoon about 3 tablespoons crepe batter into hot pan, tilting the pan so that bottom surface is evenly coated. Cook over medium heat, 1 to 2 minutes on a side, or until golden brown.

Spread the Nutella on the finished Crepe, add bananas and fold.. ENJOY!!!!!
P.S. very addictive J

Now Nutella I know about! There’s always a jar in the cupboard here. I had to smile when you mentioned sneaking off with the jar and a spoon. I find Nutella-coated spoons in the sink sometimes and *someone* thinks they’re getting away with it. 🙂

I feel like Nutella is different since I lived in Germany around 5 years ago. I’ve tried Nutella since returning to the U.S. and it makes my teeth hurt a lot. I wanna buy a container straight from Germany to figure out if it’s just me, or if something about the American version is way too sugary.
CrazyMom says
Nope not just you, the “American” version is a lot different, a lot of the stuff here is sweeter then the original….no idea why, do they think no one would eat it if it’s not sweet enough? My mom sends me the German version every so often and it does taste different….lol
