I’m very big on coupons, but I also promote legit coupon use. Which means only use coupons that are legit; do not COPY any coupons, not even the ones you print on the PC. A lot of people think the ones from the PC are okay to copy; they are NOT, every one that you print has a unique code, if you print one today, take a closer look, the bar code on each coupon is different. Your PC will let you only print (2) two and each are unique. Making these coupons legit, if you go and copy them, that is copy fraud.
Please, please, if you have a question about coupon fraud or legit coupons message me and I will find out for sure if the coupon is good. Stores do not get reimbursed for coupon fraud and you could also be fined for using fraudulent coupons.
Here are two websites where you can see if the coupon is legit or what fraudulent coupons are in circulation. If the coupon sounds too good to be true, it probly is; also make sure to check.

Here are some general tips to avoid falling prey to counterfeit coupons:
- Simply use the coupons you obtain from your newspaper, manufacturer’s web site or their authorized coupon distributor.
- Be very leery when downloading coupons from Internet forums or paying money for coupons.
- Google a deal or coupon if it seems too good to be true.
- If a friend e-mails you coupons that look unprofessional, especially high value or free product coupons, they may be counterfeit.
- Most manufacturers follow common sense practices about Internet Print-at-Home Coupons, for example, the coupon itself should not be visible on your computer screen. A copy of these guidelines is available HERE.
- For a copy of guidelines and to see a list of identified fraudulent coupons, go to Coupon Information Center’s website HERE.
