A good rule of thumb is to buy one paper per family member, I always make sure I get even numbers, we are 5 and I buy 6 papers, reason is if there is a buy one get one free sale I can use 2 (!) coupons and that way I have enough coupons.
The papers really pay for themselves. Look around some stores have paper cheaper then others, like here in central Florida our local Ledger is $1.25 and the Tampa Tribune is only $1.00 or the St. Pete Times is $.50!!!!and has the same inserts, I don’t read the paper all I want are the coupons so the cheaper the better… 🙂 So check it out HERE
A nice addition is by viewing the coupons ahead of time, you can plan your shopping around the sales since you know if there is an upcoming coupon that will go with a sale a your store and make the item even cheaper

I have got to remember to match my coupons with the buy one get one free. I was just excited to save what I did this week at Walgreens. You can really racked it up with BOGO from them.

yes.. you will get HUGE savings if you use your coupons ( 1 per item) on the Bogo deals.. so be sure to NOT forget about them.. they are making the deal super sweet and mostly free!!!!!
