The countdown has started and we are on our Back to School mindset. Only 1 more week and everyone will be heading back to class. This year I will have a Junior and a Junior in college as well as a 3rd grader. Time sure flies when you are having fun.

My Junior is a little worried about his new schedule and all the changes his school made over the summer and I decided to make him a little survival kit to get him off to a good start. Over the summer we did a lot of fun things and one was to watch the new Ghostbusters movie in theaters.

I’ve always been a big fan of Ghostbusters, since I’m an 80’s child I was so excited for the new Ghostbusters remake and to share it with my kids. That gave me the idea of the Survival kit, I bet your kids will love it, too. It will also bring back some memories for us 80’s kids.

I’ve created a few fun printables that you can use to recreate to make this for your kids to have a fun start into the new year. Some items that I included in my Back to School Survival kit are listed below.

-
M&M’s® Milk Chocolate Bottle in Ghostbusters theme
-
Hand Sanitizer
-
Movie Tickets
-
Popcorn Packs
-
Dental Hygiene products
-
Pencils
-
Erasers
-
Wipes

These are a few items that came to mind quickly. I wanted my son to have fun and of course the mom in me had to add a few feel good items for me and a lot of feel good items for him.

I thought the Ghostbusters themed M&M Chocolate bottles would be a great way to not only give my Teen something familiar but the bottle can also be used to store eraser caps, paperclips or anything else the kids need stored. I love them, they are too cute. You can pick up your very own M&M Chocolate bottles they are locate in the checkout line at Walmart. All the other item I picked up at Walmart as well, one stop shop.

Now you know a few ways on how to send your Teen off to a great year and if you haven’t watched the new Ghostbusters, in theatres now, I highly recommend it! It was awesome and you will create family memories for time to come.

What items would you include in your Teen’s survival kit? Would love to hear your ideas. Leave me a comment below and let’s chat how we can make this a great new year back to school in style.

Haha, I love the printable! A great emergency resource as how many kids remember phone numbers these days or have them jotted down in an address book? I’m guilty too. #client
