Take a Family Time Out at #Chuckecheese

I don’t know who has more fun at #Chuckecheese the kids or my husband and I. I think we are there at least once a month and when we walk in the employees always smile like they already know us. But honestly it’s a great time out place for the entire family.

It’s fun, it’s affordable and it’s almost always open. The kids can hang out and play all their favorite games and entertainment by Mr. Chuck E. Cheese himself while Mom and Dad can play their favorite games, laugh and have fun or enjoy a delicious dinner all at the same place. Call it what you want, I call it my time out zone.

I don’t think I have ever heard the kids say “No… not again mom” when we suggested Pizza and games on a Friday evening after a busy week at work. We also love to reward the kids with a night out on the town for their report cards, each kid gets extra tokens from Mom and Dad for A’s and B’s, imagine the excitement during report card week, the kids can hardly sustain their excitement and spend days calculating up how many extra tokens Mom and Dad will get them during the next Chuck E. Cheese’s visit. Crazy, I know, but it keeps the kids motivated and they will also have fun all at the same time.

It’s a win win for all of us, very affordable to have a good time and a great dinner and everyone loves it. They have great deals and a new menu that we really love. You have to check it out. We used to wait for special occasions like a Birthday to spend the afternoon at Chuck E. Cheese’s when my older boys were little, not anymore. We like to celebrate the little things in life there now and make it a fun family event at least once a month. It’s too good to only enjoy once every blue moon. What do you think, is Chuck E. Do you have any favorite games? I totally love Skeeball. My kids know me all too well. I took my daughter for a Mom and Me date the other day and we spend a few hours at yup, you guessed it Chuck E. Cheese’s and after we returned home, my son said. “So mom, did you spend the last 2 hours hogging the Skeeball machines?”. They know me so well. It’s one of my favorite games there and so cool. My daughter and I had a competition going and yup… I won. She voted revenge the next time we go back.

It’s a lot of fun, a safe place for the entire family to hang out for a few hours and maybe even make some friends while playing on the many different games. Oh, another fun one that we ALWAYS have to do is the sketch machine. The kids love when they get a card with their picture on. This has been a favorite since my College Sophomore was a little tike, I must have 100 of the sketches and honestly, love them. What kid loves to take pictures? Yup… looking back, now I treasure every single one of the sketches.
