Take your work on the go from office to school to home the new Microsoft Office 365 has you covered #Review

Being a busy mom of three has it’s challenges. I have assignments that are due at the office, assignments that are due to share on the blog and in-between the kids keep screaming for the PC because they have assignments due at school. We only had one PC that ran Word and it was always a battle to find PC time for everyone to get everything done.

My office PC recently got an upgrade to the new Microsoft Office 365 and at first it looked like any other Microsoft Office suite that we all know and love. Till I spend a few lunch hours exploring and actually seeing that the new Microsoft Office 365 is NOTHING like the Microsoft Word or Excel that you are used to.

Remember trying to create a label or a spreadsheet and don’t remember the formula? Well the new Office 365 has you covered, many templates are installed in your software and many more can be downloaded for free online.

As a busy mom the best part was that I could work on my personal assignments during my lunch hour at the office, sitting in the carpool line or waiting at the soccer fields and save it all into the SkyDrive and I could access my work anytime, anywhere from any PC. I was loving this. It saved me soo much time.

Not only was the Excel Spreadsheets my favorite to keep track of my grocery budget, saving, spending and coupon use, but I was also keep track of our family health goals like weight loss. All set up for you in Microsoft Office 365.

What is Office 365 Home Premium all about you ask… check this out.

  • The latest and most complete set of Office applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher and Access
  • One license for the entire household to use Office on up to five devices, including Windows tablets, PCs or Macs, and get Office on Demand from any Internet-connected PC
  • With an Office 365 subscription, download Office Mobile on up to five phones (iPhone or Android)
  • An additional 20 GB of SkyDrive cloud storage, nearly three times the amount available with a free SkyDrive account
  • 60 Skype world calling minutes per month to call mobile phones, landlines or PCs around the world
  • Future upgrades, so you always use the latest time-saving technology
  • Fast, fluid design that responds to touch and stylus as naturally as it does to keyboard and mouse
  • Automatic save to SkyDrive, so your documents — and even your personal settings — are always available from virtually anywhere and on your favorite devices

Untitled-2

Since I was able to install Office 365 Home Premium on up to 5 devices, I was able to load it onto the kids PC, their iPad for school and my personal PC; we all can get our work done without trying to find the best time to squeeze onto the one PC that had Word installed. The kids can get their homework done in time and save it to their SkyDrive and load it once they get to school to print it if needed.

No more, MOM… I need the PC to do homework. I love that we have 5 access points for one license. One annual subscription to Microsoft Office 365 is $99.99 or $8.34 a month, for all 5 device licenses. The price can’t be beat for a bundle of products that will help you keep your family organized and let’s the kids learn in school without a problem, they have their own Word, Excel or even Note application.

Some information for you once you own the brand new Office 365, I’m not lying to you, it is a learning curve, but you will learn quickly and will enjoy the new Office 365 and never look back.

Now you are all set and ready to explore Office 365 on your own. I can’t stop finding new ways to use Word, Microsoft Outlook or even Excel to organizing, budgeting or school assignments. Microsoft Office 365 has us all covered and will get it all done in less time with more quality. I’m loving our subscription and if you are looking for more information, be sure to visit Office 365 on the web, follow on Facebook or Twitter.

What would you use Office 365 for to make your life easier??

Office 365 Home Premium can be the perfect tool to help you get started and stay on track:

  • Lose weight: This is widely accepted as the most popular resolution, and one that is quickly dropped a few weeks into January.  But it doesn’t have to be that way this year – fitness experts have long pointed to tracking as the best way to maintain this goal, and Office has several ways to help.  Whether you want to track your food, or your workouts, Office can be your best fitness buddy.  As the pounds come off you can also manage your weight loss using Excel. Plus, by saving your workout plans in the cloud with SkyDrive, you can access them from your tablet, home PC, or even from the gym on your phone so you can keep track from virtually anywhere. Another great Microsoft tool is the Bing Health & Fitness app. It has tons of great content that spans health, nutrition and fitness, with articles, exercise videos, reference libraries and personal wellness trackers and tools (including nutrition information and suggested workouts).
  • Manage stress: The holidays can be an overwhelming time, which is why a lot of people want to better cope with stress.  One way to keep it in check is to keep to-do lists and manage tasks in a more organized way.  If you’re planning a house project, or a wedding, OneNote can help you remember everything.  Even if it’s the day-to-day to-dos that are keeping you up at night, OneNote is the perfect tool. In addition to being part of Office 365, it also comes as a free app for Windows Phone, iPhone, iPad and Android, so you can add and check off items no matter where you are.
  • Manage debt: Planning a budget is easy with Excel and, with mobile apps and Office Web Apps, you can check and update your spreadsheets at home, at work and on the go.  Because Office Web Apps now support co-authoring, you and your spouse can edit and keep track of budgets in real time (even if you’re both accessing the document at the same time)!
  • Get a better job: If 2014 is the year for a career change, Office can help.  Whether you want a creative or a formal resume, we have lots of options to get you started.  In addition, as we’ve mentioned before, Office is a top desired proficiency for the current workplace and now is a great time to brush up on your skills with Office 365.
  • Take a Trip: If your big wish for 2014 is to get out of town, it’s time to start planning!  From hotels to flight details to top attractions, there’s a lot to keep track of when planning your dream vacation. This OneNote travel notebook is a great tool – it even includes a built in expense tracker and remember lists for when you’re on your adventure.

I received a complimentary subscription to Office 365 in exchange for the review. All opinions and ideas are 100% my own and are not influenced by anyone or anything. I was not asked to write e positive review, but all my views are honest, yours may differ.

I have to get this, actually. My old MS office expired and I can’t use Word or Excel on my laptop and it’s such a PAIN. I didn’t realize how much I would miss it if I didn’t have it.

5 access points! The Microsoft Office 365 sounds like something I need to get. We take a lot of trip throughout the year and I think this would help track our expenses among other things.

I use this and it’s great! Sometimes I start writing something on my laptop and have to leave the house so while I’m at the park with some spare time I can pick right back up using my phone or even my kindle! It’s very useful

I think I would greatly benefit from using the excel spreadsheet! My schedule is a mess and my list of ‘to-do’s’ on a given way is all over the place. Thank you for the intro on MS 365

I think it is so important to keep yourself organized with a program like this one. It’s so hard to juggle everything and to keep everything in order sometimes.

The Microsoft office 365 is perfect for people that are into crafts. I make samples for my wax and I’m always trying to come up with cute labels. They seem to have some really great ones. I wonder if my hubby would get this for me (my bday is in March heheh). thanks for the review on it!

I have this, and I admit it took me a bit to accept it. I don’t do change well when it comes to Office products, lol. Now that I’m used to it, though, I love it! I haven’t even explored all the options yet. I mostly use Word, but I also love the Sky Drive.

I do need to update my office. We still have 2011 and it’s now 2014 but it works and the kids use it for homework etc. Maybe I’ll have to invest in this when my daughter starts college and she gets a new laptop.
