It’s Tax time! Have you finished your filing yet? Time is running out. I just received my refund the other day and was so excited to see that Walmart Family Mobile had a great deal on a new phone. This year my husband and I decided to use our refund to get new phones for the family.
My son fell in love with the Samsung Galaxy On5 (reg. Price $119.) and my husband was excited to get his own Unlimited Talk, Text, & Data which includes up to 10GB of 4G LTE then 2G plus a free VUDU movie credit every month ($7 value) per line for $49.88. Besides the phone purchase we needed the SIM Kit to get us started, which is a one time $19.88 fee. The free movie credit is a $7 value is the same as a new release rental and allows for family movie nights, how super cool is that?
I have been using Walmart Family Mobile for almost 5 years (Wow.. Hard to believe, time flies when you are having fun!) and switched my son to his Walmart Family Mobile plan a few years back, too.
My husband was the only one still under a contract because back in the day he thought the phones with a contract are better and it took me some time to convince him that they are the same phones at Walmart Family Mobile, the BIG difference… They are cheaper, and you don’t have a monthly contract making your cell phone plan a better deal all the way around.
I’m excited to say that thanks to our Tax refund we were able to get all new phones, the $19.88 SIM Kit, add a 3rd line and buy a few accessories and still have money left over for our savings account.
What other cell phone company can you say that about? Usually we spend an arm and a leg the day we pick up the phones and monthly for up to 24 months, too. I’m so happy that we are finally contract free in the entire house!!
From personal experience I can highly recommend Walmart Family Mobile and love it in every aspect. A few of my favorite App’s are listed below. Trust me, you will fall in love with it, too and you will say “Why didn’t I make the switch sooner”. The larger data bucket of 10GB of 4G LTE data helps me a lot with my favorite Apps.

My Printer App, every WIFI Printer has an app, it’s a lifesaver. Check your printer and load the app to your Walmart Family Mobile phone, now you can print anywhere anything from your phone. I printed all my Tax return papers directly from the phone to my printer. LOVE it!!!

My Music App is another one I love, there are a few different ones that are either free or require a monthly fee but they are awesome to have, you can always listen to your favorite songs while on the go and I can even stream them in the car. The best!!

Pinterest is my favorite app while sitting in the car pickup line, I can check out all kind of things from recipes, meal planning to DIY ideas.

Savings App from Walmart’s App to many other grocery store apps, I love them all. They are convenient and let me check all the deals in one place and even create a shopping list, the store apps are also great for price matching if you find something cheaper.
See, Walmart Family Mobile is a great value all the way around from a great deal to saving a bundle and being able to do just about anything you want while on the go. I love the low price of Walmart Family Mobile and the great value it gives me every month.
I encourage you to head over to Walmart and make the switch. You will not regret it, I never have and never will. I smile all the way to the bank when I save money every month and have the best cell phone service in town.
