They are BACK!!!!! As a gal that grew up in the 80’s, I most defiantly remember my favorite TV Show….The Smurfs. Funny thing, I was super excited when the DVD arrived the other day and my Tween looked at me and said”What in the world…?”. I ran like a Teenager and popped the DVD in, my tween still had no idea what had me so excited. Finally I mentioned to him… it’s The Smurfs … again, he looked at me and said “So… who are they?”.

OMG.. I can not believe that in all my tween’s and probly even my Teen’s life I’ve never talked about The Smurfs. So we had a little sit down One on one talk and we went over ALL the Smurfs and how cool they were… My favorite of course is Lazy and I think my Tween picked him, too.

My Tween and my Teen both agreed to sit down and watch ONE (1) episode of the new The Smurfs “A Magical Smurf Adventure” DVD just so they can see what I was talking about… 

After we watched the one episode that we had agreed on, I started to do some kitchen chores and during the Toddlers nap time I realized the  DVD walked away and I haven’t seen it in over 10 hrs… I got worried and looked through my house. Did someone take my beloved Smurfs hostage??  did we loos the DVD?? Did the Dog maybe decide he wanted to watch the Smurfs?? I about panicked, my brand new Smurfs DVD was gone … I tried to find the kids and couldn’t even find them… something was up….. and that in deed something smelled fishy in the Crazy Mom’s house…. the closer I got to the Tween’s room the louder the laughs had gotten. I could hear the Toddler, tween and even the Teen giggle… could it be??

Caught ya… !!! Found my kids and my DVD all at once.. the kids after watching the one episode that they had agreed to realized that they loved the Smurfs and wanted to watch the remainder, BUT… as kids are.. they were too proud to admit to mom that this is a cool show… lol… YUP, mom could have embarrassed them by sitting in the living room for the entire 190 mins. that this DVD runs and make them watch the entire thing…lol.. GUESS what we are doing tonight…..lol
