Did you know that Capri Sun has a new big brother? Yes, it’s called Capri Sun Big Pouch! These are super cool, my kids always loved Capri Sun and so did I growing up, but now I noticed that the regular Capri Sun pouches are just too small for the boys; both are Teens now and they will drink an entire box in a day; it will not last in my house. So when I went to Walmart the other day I saw next to the regular Capri Sun pouches two boxes with single serve bigger pouches and they were from Capri Sun.
I had Teen #2 with me and he quickly grabbed a few pouches and begged me to let him try them. The new Capri Sun Big Pouch is 11.02 oz, that is a BIG pouch for sure, that’s almost twice the size of the regular pouches. We located our Capri Sun Big Pouch in the same section as the regular Capri Sun drink boxes and each big Pouch was $0.88, not a bad deal for a drink my Teens would enjoy for their school lunch, during soccer practice, on the way home from school and anytime they are ready for a BIG drink, they would grab one.

My Teen#2 that was shopping with me opted for Fruit Punch, he didn’t really care for the Kiwi Strawberry flavor that was at our store, so I grabbed a few of each since I still have Teen #1 at home and he may enjoy the Strawberry Kiwi flavor, we didn’t have the Maui Cooler at our store, maybe next time around we will find it.
I can honestly say that I’m glad I grabbed a few of the Strawberry Kiwi flavors, they quickly became Teen#1’s favorite flavor and he took them everywhere. I really liked that the new Big Pouch has a re-sealable screw cap, making it easy for the bottle to open, take a drink and close without finishing the entire drink at one time. Also, while the kids are in school they can refill their Capri Sun Big Pouches with water during the day and always have a drink with them. Love when I can use a product for more than one use or for what it was intended for. Don’t you like that? I think that’s a big advantage and we really enjoy it.

Talking about turning junk into treasures, have you seen American Pickers yet? One of my all time favorite shows and now American Picker’s has teamed up with Capri Sun for an amazing Sweepstake.
Capri Sun is celebrating the new big pouch and are having an incredible contest starring Mike Wolfe, creator and star of American Pickers on History. American Pickers travels around the Midwest buying and “picking” antiques and collectibles. “Picking” is another term for buying, but also references how collectors find worthy items. Many times American Picker Mike Wolfe, creator and star of American Pickers on History, will go into some uncanny places, like old stuffed garages and run down properties.
I just did the same thing this weekend at a local warehouse with lots of Junk and Treasure stuff. Check out below what My Treasure was and what someone’s junk was… It’s SOOO much fun, everything can be repurposed. YES.. I will post later in the week how I turned someone’s Junk into MY treasure.
How do you like my new treasure?? See, a little imagination, some paint and a few hours will turn someone’s junk into someone’s new treasure. That’s the piece I picked up at my local Vintage store… almost missed it but glad I checked it out and had some imagination.

I was buying lots and lots of capri suns until about 2 weeks ago when someone told me to go on to snopes and the mold found in many and sure enough, it is on their site. I still purchase their waters since I’m thinking maybe it can’t get in the water like the juice but it scared me. I have seen the large pouches, pretty neat.
