If you are trying to cut down your spending and save more money think about canceling your cable TV and watch free, legal internet video on various industry-run websites. Using a media center extender or small PC, connect it by VGA to your HDTV. Instead of TV on *their* time, now you can have daily shows and podcasts for free

Yeah, but.. i know AFL is love on their website, but.. i cant watch it on my plasma thru my comp.. and I hate the ads on the free-to-air.

Also something like Roku is a good idea. I have one and I love it. I watch t.v. shows and movies. Can’t live without it.

I need to look into that…. now if I could find german TV anywhere I would be in heaven… I pay $20 a month for 1 channel.. am I nuts.. yup especially since I’m miss cheap skake…lol.. but I miss home and that keeps me connected 🙂
