Tonka Chuck & Friends Review

Who said Cars are ONLY for Boys ?…. Well I’m kicking of some of my Holiday Gift Guide a little Bit early; I’ve seen so many deals and steels  lately, that I just wanted to start showing some products that we really enjoy and what we think. So in case you do see a sale, you know if the product is worth the money or not.

I was extremely excited when I was asked to review the Tonka Chuck & Friends Power PlaYard System Handy’s Hangtime Bridge. The boys always loved Tonka when they were little and since we have a little Girl in the house Cars and trucks are hard to come by.

One day last week my Best Friend, the FedEx Guy showed up at my front door and my kids got all excited when they saw TONKA on the box. Of Course  we had to open and play right away.

So we opened the Box and this is what we saw….

I think the best part about having older Brothers is… they take the time to put the Toys together… and I may add they get it done a lot quicker then I would.. mhh maybe because they read the instructions…hahah.

So here is my Tween  putting the Toy together. Took him all but 2 minutes, so parents if you have to put this together it will take you a good 5 min, just as a little warning… *smile*.

Can you see the fun the kids had? The older kids weren’t too entertained by this Tonka truck ( so they said.. take a look at the pictures. do you think they look bored…??), they kept asking “What’s the point” BUT the little one she loved it.

She had a ball and laughed as hard as she could every time the truck drove across the Bridge. So it is clearly a great toy for Kids 8 and under, I would say. It will keep your little one entertained for hours, watching their Chuck the Tonka truck drive across the Bridge and then back onto the floor…

Now let me tell you why the Toddler thought it was such a cool and fun toy.

Once you put the bridge together and add 2 AA batteries to “CHUCK” the Tonka  truck you are ready to roll.

Your Chuck the  Tonka truck will pick himself up on one  side of the Bridge, drive across  the hanging bridge on the bottom and knock off a “rock” and keep on driving… that part made my Toddler laugh out loud every time.. she got  a huge kick out of seeing the truck drive on it’s  own under the Hanging Bridge…
