I can not believe the amazing Gluten free products that are on the market nowadays. I have never been diagnosed with celiac decease, but 7 years ago I was diagnosed with Lupus; while researching if I indeed had Lupus, like my Gynecologist said was the reason for miscarrying, I was sitting in my Rheumatologists office and came across an article that mentioned Celiac decease, all the symptoms pointed to me. My Rheumatologist didn’t believe that I had Celiac decease, but she never ran a test, not even sure if back then they had a test.
Hardly anyone had heard of Celiac decease back then and I was kind of on my own; very few products existed that were gluten free and only available at very selected stores, not anywhere close to me and very, I mean very expensive. I even had a local bakery at Publix create my wedding cake and I brought in my own topper, gluten free for them to add to the regular cake. Yup.. my wedding cake topper was gluten free. I lived Gluten free for about 2 years while we tried to get pregnant again; yet it was never confirmed that I had Celiac nor Lupus (yup.. no idea where the Gynecologist came up with that scare). It did make me feel better and less tired and tummy issues.
Now fast forward to 2013; I’ve been back on Gluten for years but my goal this year was to eat healthier and cutting gluten out was one of my goals; I won’t cut it out 100% but if I have a choice to be gluten free I will definitely take that over gluten.
There is so much information on the market about Gluten free and I’m loving it. I can purchase gluten free products almost everywhere I go, even Walmart or my local grocery store; friends know what Celiac decease is and have heard of the word “Gluten” free more then once (unlike back in the day when I had to convince people that I want to be Gluten Free because I may have Celiac decease, everyone looked at me like I’m from mars).
In my “Happier 2013” search I came across a name that I had heard many times over again “Udi’s”. I had to find out more about that “Udi’s” company and to my surprise learned that they had oodles of information about living Gluten free and countless of products like bread, brownies and even muffins all for a Gluten free diet!!
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw all the products they have available to make a Gluten free lifestyle, weather you are like me just wanting to be healthier, or if you HAVE to be Gluten free per Dr. order, Udi’s is the place to be.
I do have to admit if you don’t have to live 100% Gluten Free, the best products for you to enjoy and be as healthy as you can be are the sweets, Muffins, brownies and cookies. You will not know you are eating gluten free and healthy. My kids didn’t really care for the breads, but then again it was gluten free. I on the other hand enjoyed the breads, especially toasted with a little cream cheese…YUM! I preferred them over regular toast. On the other hand if you have to be gluten free these products are the best of the best…..
See, Udi’s isn’t just for people with Celiac decease, even you can make an effort to a healthier better lifestyle one cookie or brownie at a time. Before I knew it my kids ate all the brownies and cookies and they have yet to find out that they are gluten free.. LOVING it!!!
So the next time you are looking for some yummy snacks for your kids, check out Udi’s and their amazing Gluten Free, nut free and even soy free product selection. I know I’m in love and will make Udi’s part of our New Year Happy Healthy 2103 resolution; will you join us? Have you tried Udi’s before?

Udi’s has such amazing products! I love everything they offer, but my very favorite is the cinnamon raisin bread, so delicious! Love to have it for breakfast toasted and don’t have to add a thing as it’s so good on it’s own.
