Another city, which is only a few kilometers from our rental home is called “Muenster Schwarzach am Main”. Muenster Schwarzach is yet another small village, where everyone knows everyone, but they also have a HUGE Abtei that houses Monks. The Monks are self sufficient and even build their own bakery, deli and have schools for the locals to attend and learn the trade of baker, etc… super cool and a sight to see. We only stopped in for a few minutes on our way to a different city, but my husband was very impressed with how the Church was build and what a big impact this church has on the community in this little German town… Check out our pictures, they of course speak more then a thousand words…
