One of our Christmas traditions that we have is to leave a fun snack for Santa on Christmas Eve. Everyone can leave some milk and cookies, but we love to kick it up a notch and leave a special treat. We always get together a few days before as a family and brainstorm about what fun treat we should make. This year the kids wanted to make it extra fun, they looked around the cupboards to see what we have and even wanted me to take them to Walmart to see if they can come up with some ideas.
While at Walmart they spotted their favorite breakfast cereal, #LoveMyCereal Quaker Life original. #CollectiveBias. They love the maple and brown sugar and even could snack on it without the milk, it’s that good. #QuakerUp. The kids quickly asked if we could incorporate their favorite cereal into Santa’s treat and that’s how our Christmas Munchies Snack was born. We gathered all the remaining ingredients and headed home to make a trial patch of the Christmas Munchies Snack, we wanted to make sure it would be perfect for Santa, can’t mess up with a last minute recipe in our home. The kids always have to test it and try it ahead of the big night. After all, only the best for the busiest man of the night, right?
It took us no time at all to make this special and super yummy Christmas Munchies Snack for Santa and I bet this would be a hit at your house, too. If you put it in an airtight container or even in the freezer it will be fresh for the special delivery, even days down the road. So it’s easy to make and can be made ahead of time and stored, no hustle and bustle at our home on Christmas Eve, that’s for sure.
This special Christmas Munchies Snack will get Santa around the world, he can easily grab a baggie and take it along. The kids would love to take along a snack baggie, too. No mess and still delicious and mom’s tested, kids approved, what more do you want for a simple snack? If my kids love it, I’m sure Santa will, too (and your kids!!). Be sure to make this special treat this Christmas to impress all your family and friends and the big jolly guy himself, too.

That looks like the perfect treat to keep Santa energized to keep going through that long night of work. I will have to give this a try for us for a snack, my youngest is going to love it.

This looks yummy and festive. I have had the muddy buddies with the Chex cereal, I never thought to use Quaker Life original or the maple and brown sugar cereal. I will have to try this.
