It’s almost time for our elf Becky’s arrival and if you have followed our last few years of elfcapades you know our elf Becky always brings a few Northpole gifts with her to keep the kids busy and excited during the pre-Christmas Season. My preparation for elf Becky’s arrival have been running in full force and like every year I plan her arrival with a big bang. This year it won’t be any different. My daughter was a little hesitant in the beginning having an elf around the house watching her every move but now elf Becky is part of our very own Christmas tradition and Christmas wouldn’t be the same without her. Do you have an elf that comes visit your family during the Christmas season, too?
Our elf will make her debut the weekend after Thanksgiving and will stay with our family through Christmas Eve and each weekend she will bring some fun activates from the Northpole with her to keep the kids busy and excited for Christmas. This year I’m super excited, I found a bunch of cool Hallmark Northpole items during a recent Walmart trip and I really had to brace myself not to buy every single item in store. I love Hallmark and all their products are so cute. I do have to admit, I bought almost every one of their Northpole items, shhhhh… Don’t tell my husband, but they will work so well with our elf Becky this year.
Our traditional elf arrival Breakfast will kick off with these super cute giftable Mugs and spreader and Plate set, they also had Nesting Bowls and I’m sure I will find an excuse to go back and pick the nesting bowl set up before Becky arrives, I just know it. I will post all about our Northpole breakfast and share some ideas on what we serve and how we set the table, be sure to come back and follow our elfcapades during the Holiday Season.
I also fell in love with the Hallmark Once upon a Northpole book, this is a Walmart exclusive, it comes with a Northpole Find Me, Santa! Snowflake and is a darling book that every child would love to receive and have during the Christmas Season. We celebrate Advent in our home and our elf Becky will deliver this book along with the Snowflake during one of her visits back from the Northpole for my princess to enjoy and read. The snowflake is really cool, too. You could actually purchase the snowflake separate as well if you have more children to make sure each gets their very own snowflake to ensure Santa will find his way to your home. Each snowflake will light up in a few different colors to guide the way to your child’s home, I know children always worry “What if Santa can’t find me?”… This will take the worry away. I love the idea and I can’t wait for my princess to see her very own snowflake and hang it on our door window.
But there is lots more, I told you, I totally went wild at the Hallmark Northpole aisle at my Walmart, I couldn’t resist. Too many cute items and perfect to keep the spirit alive. The super cute Bake like an elf baking tools with recipe cards set will be so much fun when our elf Becky delivers this to my princess. I cannot wait, it is darling and will be a hit. Easy for kids to follow directions in making special treats like Snow Drop Wedding Cookies, Grandma Gilly’s Winter Magic Sugar cookies or Sparkles Gingerbread Cookies. The recipe cards also have a little story about each recipe on the back and is just super cute. I know the kids will love it!
Once all the baking and reading is done, there is only one more thing to do before all the gift wrapping can start, a big ol’ snowball fight, that’s right. Thanks to the Northpole toys we can even have a fun snowball fight in Florida. The soft snowballs even light up when you toss them and no one gets hurt. Just a lot of laughs and giggles. I bet even the big kids would love to join in on that snowball fight. Best part, they are super affordable at under $3 bucks each (Walmart promo price), you can grab a few and they will last forever!
There you have a little sneak peek of what we have planned for our elfcapades this Christmas season, be sure to come back after Thanksgiving to follow all our elf Becky stories and see what kind of mischief she can get into and how we put our Northpole toys to good use. We will have lots of #NorthpoleFun this year, that’s for sure.
Do you have an elf visit during Christmas? Would love to hear which Northpole gift would fit well with your silly elf.

I’m not personally into the Elf on a Shelf tradition, but I do love those blue and red dishes you got! The mug is wonderful – I have to have one. ♥
My daughter is 2.5 this Christmas, and we haven’t really established any traditions, yet, as a family. I’m hoping to change that, this year! Still not sure how, though.

We don’t have an elf visit, but I do usually get each kid an ornament. I have to remember to get some soon!

We’ve never done an elf on the shelf at our home. It does sound like a fun holiday tradition.
