At the beginning of the summer I introduced you to this wonderful savings program for Gas Rewards and Grocery Rewards. Our goal at the time was to save a little bit of money to take a few day trips maybe to Orlando and hopefully kick start our Germany fund for the Summer of 2014.

I truly loved that MasterCard is one of the many sponsors for the Fuel Rewards Network program and no matter what I purchase from Groceries at Winn Dixie to special MasterCard only deals, I can save on gas anywhere from 5 cents to an unlimited $$$ amount upwards. I just have to use my MasterCard when I check out at Winn Dixie and if I spend over $100 in Groceries I get extra savings on top of the Fuel Perks for the groceries(that may be a special promotion right now).

Fuel Rewards Network has changed our way of getting gas; the mobile App is amazing, showing me the nearest gas station and even how much savings I have accumulated in my account thanks to MasterCard and many of the other sponsors like using Home Depot online or even using my enrolled MasterCard at over 10,000 participant restaurants to dine and start racking in the gas savings.

It really can’t get any easier than that and since I know we love the Fuel Rewards Network program I truly enjoy giving you updates along the way to keep you posted on our current goals. Over the Summer one of our goals was to take a few small trips to Orlando with the family, now granted, Orlando is only 45 minutes away, but gas is expensive and extra trips like that aren’t always in the budget. Thanks to the amazing Fuel Rewards Network program and the amazing sponsors I was able to save on gas.

We ended up saving just for our Orlando getaway a good $55 in Fuel Rewards. That was AMAZING! I had no idea that it would end up that much in Fuel Perks when I started this program at the end of May by just purchasing groceries that give me Fuel Perks at Winn Dixie.

I’m excited to announce that thanks to the Fuel Rewards Network my Family traveled to Orlando and had an amazing time at the Hotel and we didn’t have to worry about the extra gas money that we usually worry about. We had a wonderful Family trip, all 5 of us and made memories that will last a lifetime.

Our next Goal is a bit bigger; we are putting all our Fuel Rewards Network savings towards our trip to Germany in the summer of 2014. I can’t wait to save the money so we can go and visit my Family again; the main thing I will actually use the money for is to travel to the airport in Miami, which is a 4 hour drive. The Fuel Rewards will hopefully give me enough gas to get to Miami and back and I will only have minimal, if anything at all out of pocket for gas. I hope I can make my goal. We have 9 months to go, but looking at how much we were able to save just since May, I think we will even be able to put some of the savings towards the gas money for the rental car in Germany. That would be so sweet!

Yes, we have dreams and we do dream big, but with a lot of will power, savings and FRN we can achieve our goals to save enough for gas to get us to the Airport and travel around Germany, I know we can and I know we will stick to our goal, will you?

  4. I love fuel rewards programs like this. You would think that gas would be cheaper in Texas with all of the big oil companies, but it’s still expensive. This sounds like a great way to save.

  11. I use the fuel rewards from Kroger to get my gas Wish I still had Winn Dixie near me. I use to work there and loved that store. Y’all saved quite a bit with that trip, that is wonderful
