It’s Spring…. or well… at least the calendar said so. Let’s welcome spring into your home and kick the Good Ol’ Winter in the you know what. II ‘m in Florida and this year wasn’t anything fun down here either. April is nocking at our door and we are still walking around in long sleeves and jackets, hello… Did the sun miss the memo??
I’m tired of Winter and decided to spruce up the house a bit and what better place then at Kohl’s to find fun and affordable home décor. I’ve shared many décor tips from Kohl’s before and well, not it’s springs turn. Who said we can’t welcome spring…??
I spend a few hours strolling my Kohl’s and just couldn’t make up my mind what I wanted. I honestly wanted it all, well.. my budget wouldn’t go for that and neither would hubby, but it was a nice dream, so walking around and deciding wasn’t a fun thing at all.
I did manage to find one of the wire baskets they had in store and fell in love with it. The price was right, under $10 on sale, score!! I could use the basket all year long and just decorate with different items, so this was a must have in my home. I’m totally in love with wire baskets right now, are you?
I also love Lavender, nothing says hello spring more then lavender, don’t you think? Kohl’s had these cute Lavender bundles wrapped in burlap. These were the cutest little things, perfectly prices for my Welcome Spring décor and I always buy in twos so I had to have two in my basket. Now to round out the table arrangement, add a candle of your choice, since my living room décor is blue, I added a blue candle. You can never go wrong with candles or too many candles. Voila… your Welcome Spring arrangement is done and ready to be placed in your home.. simple as that!
While I was at Kohl’s, I also grabbed one of those candle wax warmers; I love them. They are soo easy to keep the house smelling fresh and a perfect way to welcome spring. I couldn’t believe how affordable these candle warmers for the outlet were, under $8 on sale and many different wax melts to choose from. I was in love and had to pick a few smelly goods.
There you have it, a small step towards spring that will bring the sun back into your home in no time but didn’t break the bank either. I love shopping Kohl’s, always a deal to be found.
Do you like to shop Kohl’s? How would you welcome spring into your home?
