A few days ago, I mentioned the Simple Service Project that we had teamed up with for Champions for Kids and Odwalla. Our mission was to shop for some fun outdoor activities for kids. As you may remember my daughters Pre-K class was our recipient and she actually picked most of the items for her class to enjoy.
Teachers are so important to us and we love helping them out anyway we can. So we gathered all our fun toys and headed to my daughters Pre-K the other day and check out how excited all her friends where when she showed up with two big bags full of fun things to keep them busy and entertained.
The kids had a blast, they couldn’t decide on what they wanted to look at first and what to grab and play with. We had lots to choose from, that would keep the kids off the couch for a long time. Check out all the fun things we delivered to the Classroom.
What a simple project this was. Everyone can participate and grab $20 worth of outdoor toys and help get the kids moving… make it a Game Day, make it a Game week… anything to get the kids active and have fun. We had a blast, all the bubbles where a hit as well as the chalk and all the other goodies. Our teachers couldn’t have been happier and kept thanking us over and over, they truly enjoyed our generosity and thoughtfulness to pick their classroom for a fun game day event.
My favorite picture of the entire event by far is the picture of all the boys and girls with their happy faces…. check it out, isn’t it priceless?
This was such an eventful day, heartwarming and loving. I loved seeing the kids enjoy themselves and have fun, simple things make a world of difference to our children. Now it’s your turn, go ahead, make someone’s day and watch them smile.
Lots more pictures to share.. and no room here, so hurry up and jump over to my Google Plus Story and see them ALL!!!
