What’s Cookin’ Monday ~ Meal Plan

We are back at home and had a blast at the Hyatt Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando last week. The weather wasn’t at all fun, but we did manage to get a few sun rays and a few hours at the pool in. Check out the free water table they had, I loved the different infused waters, sooooo good and refreshing.

Now it’s back to reality, work is calling and the kids need to get ready for back to school soon. They have lots of summer work to get done. Do your kids have Summer Homework, too?

We went to our local Meat Market the other day as well and stocked up on a ton of meat for dinners. Do you have a Meat Market in your area that you like to go to? Ours is fairly new and I can’t imagine living without it. We bought almost $500 worth of meat for $200, mostly beef from ground beef to roasts and steaks; some sausages, chicken and pork as well. Our Meat Market also has specials if you buy a certain amount they give you free stuff, we ended up with lots of free veggies and bread just for buying our meat and when I went home I posted about it on Facebook and little did I know that entered me into a contest and I won a box of free meat and veggies… what a weekend!! So it pays to check out your local Meat Market, the price can’t be beat and the quality is usually better than the big chain stores, too.

I love the marinated chicken that you linked up. The lime is a nice touch that complements the other flavors well.
