What’s cooking ~ Meal Plan

Well.. another week is over and we are quickly approaching the end of September… WOW.. where did the year go? Last weekend we spend a long weekend at the Beach; the first time in a long long time. Actually it was the first trip to the beach for my Princess and she is 5. Kind of sad, we live that close to the beach and hardly ever find the time to go. I’m not allowed to be out in the sun much so that is one reason we hardly go and of course your every day stuff always seems to get in the way as well.

We did have a blast; nice warm water and not many people at all; it was just a  fun Family Getaway for a few days. What did you do last week?

This week is the first week of fall, so let’s start cookin’  some fall dishes that will get us used to being in October soon… I know I’m pushing it, I’m sooo hoping for some cooler weather, aint’ gonna happen here in Florida, but a gal can wish, right?

Happy fall ya ’all …

Monday:          Taco salad with Guacamole and Pico Salsa

Tuesday:          Meatball Subs with fresh Mozzarella and salad

Wednesday:     Spaghetti Squash with Cream Sauce and Mushrooms

Thursday:        Italian Sausage Soup

Friday:             Chicken Carbonara with Salad and Garlic Bread

Saturday:         Baked Cheeseburger and Mushroom Pasta Casserole with Salad

Sunday:            Mom’s night off ~ Dinner at Mimi’s House

There you have it.. this is what we will be dishing up…. Can’t wait, sounds like a delish week … would love to hear what’s on your plan for the week.

This meal plan looks great, especially for the first official week of Fall! I’ve never made Chicken Carbonara, but I’m going to give it a try. I think that my family will like it.

Ok now that I have to try. Italian sausage soup? Mmmmm. Except I might wait for it to get a tad bit cooler here in Texas. It’s a melting pot. Whoooo!
