What’s Cooking ~Meal Plan Monday

September 30, 2013 By Melanie Roberts 7 Comments

Boy, last week seemed like forever.. we all caught the BUG… Yeah; our house wasn’t a happy home at all. Every day someone else came down with the crud and last night my princess ended up with it. She got over it quickly though, unlike us old people…lol. Yeah, fall is in the air.. we are all getting sick; how about you?

My Meal Plan this week will be super simple; I’m still struggling to get back to “normal” and hubby, my cook isn’t feeling his best yet either; so the simpler the better. If it was for me,I’d say skip cooking till we are all better.. but someone said I have to feed the kids, SOOOO we will cook this week.

Let’s make this short and sweet so I can jump back on to my couch and curl up under a blanket; would love to hear what you are dishing up.

I scouted a few of my blogging friends blogs and grabbed the first thing I saw that sounded good for us this week.. YUP.. I told you I made it simple.

Monday:            Creamy Mushroom & Bacon Gnocchi with Salad

Tuesday:           Beef Stew in the Crockpot with Polenta

Wednesday:      Pork Chops; Green beans and Tuscany Red baked potato

Thursday:         Sloppy Joes (I have them in the freezer still) & Salad

Friday:               Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil Panini

Saturday:          Pizza Night ~ take out

Sunday:             Mom’s night off ~ Dinner at Mimi’s house

Well… I made the plan, let’s hope we can make it onto the table… Happy Cooking and if you are looking for more delicious dinner ideas, be sure to visit I’m an Organizing Junkie for her Meal Plan linkup

This looks like a great meal plan for the week. I honestly don’t know how you do it. I know I should try it to make my life more organized and take the guesswork out of meal planning.
