Who said you can’t have Ice-cream for Breakfast? You will have a #NewFavorites Smoothie #Recipe to dish up

Who said you can’t have Ice-cream for Breakfast? You will have a #NewFavorites Smoothie #Recipe to dish up #shop

I’ve always loved fruits and veggies, growing up we always had fresh fruits on the kitchen table so we could snack on them as we wanted. Fruits are healthy for you and if you have a little one that isn’t really fond of veggies, I have a secret to share. So sit down, grab one of the #NewFavorites of mine, the Skinny Cow Chocolate Mint Ganache and check out how I sneak Fruits & Vegetables into my kids breakfast. I guarantee your kids will love it and you will be a happy mama keeping those youngins healthy and happy in a simple way.

I found the new Outshine Fruit & Veggie Bars at my local Walmart the other day and quickly knew that I had to try them. I’ve always loved to mix Fruit & Veggies and this would be a great way to get some extra Vitamins into the kids snacking. I grabbed a few boxes and of course Mom’s get to splurge every so often, too, I grabbed myself a box of Skinny Cow, the new Chocolate Mint Ganache. Yes we can! So go ahead grab a few healthy snacks for your kids and a treat for yourself.

I couldn’t wait to get home and share the treats with the kids. Of course they gobbled them down, putting a smile on my face. I love when I can sneak extra nutrition into a treat without them really knowing that it’s good for you. YUP, that’s a #NewFavorites of mine now.

The Tangerine Carrot bar was my favorite, but the kids really enjoyed the Blueberry Medley and shhhh… don’t tell them that it had beets in them! Amazing how you can trick your kids into eating something good if they think it’s “JUST” an ice-cream bar or snack bar.

That gave me an idea. We are always strapped for time in the morning and the kids really don’t want to eat something big or healthy for breakfast. I came up with a simple way that will have your kids asking for more breakfast every morning! Who said you can’t have Ice-Cream for breakfast. I remember my Mom and Grandma always telling me it’s for dessert only. Well, not in this crazy Mama’s house, we eat it for Breakfast! You heard me right. I came up with a simple breakfast smoothie. The kids loved it, Mama was happy and you will be too.

This is what you need for the Fruit & Veggie Breakfast Smoothie

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt, plain
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • 2 Outshine Fruit & Veggie Bars

Blend it all together and serve, or have the kids grab a glass on the way out the door. They will love it and you will breathe a sigh of relieve knowing they got some vitamins into them before they started off their day. It’s THAT simple, I told you so, didn’t I?

I love the fact that the Outburst Fruit & veggie Bars have NO… Yes, NO… Artificial Colors or Flavors, all natural. Each bar is about 60 calories with 0 Sat Fat and only 14g of sugar, lots of Vitamin C and even more flavor! That’s something good for the lite ones to enjoy, whether it be for Breakfast, Lunch or even Dinner.

Another reason why the Outshine Fruit & Veggie Bars made my #NewFavorites, list. They are affordable, can be purchased anywhere across the nation, so even if we travel during the summer, I can run into any store and grab a snack that I know the kids will love. Would you believe that the new Blueberry Medley has Beets, Blueberry, Pear, Apple and Sweet potato all into one bar? It’s an amazing taste and I urge you to check them out as a fun spring treat for the kids or even for yourself. Of course, don’t forget to get a box of Skinny Cow, they are moooolishes.

Great idea! I should get some fruit/veggie bars as my kids do not eat enough fruits or veggies but I’m sure they would eat these, they love frozen treats (and I love Skinny Cow)
