Booooo it’s almost time for Halloween Celebrations. If you are like us we love to throw a fun Halloween Party and dish up some fun treats. This year we will be welcoming our little Trick or Treaters with those handy dandy candy buckets that will hold all our candy that we hand out while sipping on Witches brew drinks that I made with Hawaiian Punch and 7Up.

I headed to Walmart the other day to stock up on our Trick or treat candy and I found a bunch of cool individually wrapped mixed mini’s that included Twix, 3Musketers, Milky way and many other small bite sizes, perfect to hand out to Trick or Treaters and the price was right as well. I know there are coupons out, so be sure to grab them before you head out to Walmart. I also grabbed a few other times like Hawaiian Punch to make a Witches Brew so my family has something fun to sip on while handing out candy. I did a test run and it all turned out amazing; let me tell you how to make it and you too, can spend Halloween in Style this year.

This is what you need for your Witches Brew

Witches Brew Halloween Recipe & Mummy Pumpkin Craft are my #SpookyCelebration creation in time for Halloween #shop

1 ~ 2 liter 7UP
1~ Gallon Hawaiian Punch RED
1/4 cup of Lemon Juice
16 oz Club Soda ~Sparkling water
12 oz Orange juice
1 pint Sherbet of your choice

This is how to make your Witches Brew

#SpookyCelebration create your own Witches Brew #Shop

  1. Pour in all your liquids into a BIG Pumpkin, Witches bowl or … just any ol’ bowl
  2. Take an Ice Cream Scope and drop the Sherbet into the bowl (make sure this is the LAST thing you add to the Witches Brew)
  3. Watch and Serve !

It was AMAZING… Everyone loved the bubbles and the Witches Brew was YUMMYYYYY… Perfect for a Halloween Party or a Trick or Treat night drink; the kids couldn’t get enough of it. Just whatever you do, make sure you add the Sorbet last or it won’t bubble and bubble it did!! Whaaaaaaa… Whaaaaaa…. ! I added a green ice cube to my final drink… just to give it a little extra kick; all I did was freeze water with food coloring; that’s it.

Since I picked up the mini candy bags at Walmart, I wanted a fun way to present them to our trick or Treaters. Check out what I came up with. Mummy Pumpkin bowls; they are perfect to hold the treats and will look fun on any Halloween Table and I bet you’re Trick or Treaters will get a giggle out of them, too.

This is what you need for your Mummy Pumpkin Bowl

Witches Brew Halloween Recipe & Mummy Pumpkin Craft are my #SpookyCelebration creation in time for Halloween #shop

  • 1 Bag of Cheesecloth
  • Pumpkins ~Fresh or craft ones, whatever you prefer
  • green dye & water
  • Fun size or Mini’s Candy Bags
  • Giggle Eyes
  • Hot Glue

This is how to make your Mummy Pumpkin Bowl

Witches Brew Halloween Recipe & Mummy Pumpkin Craft are my #SpookyCelebration creation in time for Halloween #shop

  1. Fill a bowl with water and add green food coloring, dye or even green Kool-Aid
  2. Take your Cheesecloth and put into the green water; let sit for a while so it will soak up all the color and turn greenish…. I left mine in the sun for like an hour, I’m sure there are many ways to dye cheesecloth.
  3. While the cheesecloth was coloring and hanging out in the sun, I took my Pumpkins and prepared them; since I had craft pumpkins I just cut the top off; you certainly could use real pumpkins, clean them out. I like the craft ones; they are cleaner and last forever.
  4. Once your Cheesecloth is the color you like, wring it out and hang up to dry or toss into the dryer for 20-30 minutes or till dry.
  5. Take your cheesecloth out of dryer and cut into strips; like bandages; use the hot glue to attach the cheesecloth to your pumpkin; I didn’t glue everything down, just the beginning piece and the end, if something in-between needed it, I added some more; warp your “bandages” around your pumpkin, overlap and no worries, there is no right or wrong way!!!
  6. Cut a slit somewhere on your pumpkin with scissors
  7. Add your giggle eyes…. Voila… Fill with candy and you are ready to Trick or Treat

Now you are ready for your next Halloween Party; what would you do with a bottle of Hawaiian punch or a bag of Mixed Miniatures like Milky Way or Snickers? Would love to hear some of your ideas and if you need more ideas, be sure to visit Bright Ideas; they have a lot of recipes and ideas in time for Halloween.
