Zevro Vac’n Save Container Review & Giveaway

I’m always up for the newest and coolest kitchen gadgets. I came across a company the other day called “Zevro”. I had never heard of them, but once I checked out their products, I knew they are something I have to check out. Every modern kitchen needs to have a few of the Zevro products, no doubt. They look slick, cool and modern and are totally functional in a busy mom’s house, that’s for sure.

Now you know a little about the company, let me introduce you to the 2^nd product that I just had to have ( you can read our First Review HERE). In the Crazy Mom’s house we are all about organization and saving Mom money; we cut coupons and we only buy products that we will eat, but what about produce? That is one thing we always waist a lot of money, we either don’t eat it in time, store it incorrectly or whatever the reason. I saw that Zevro has a cool new designer line called Vac’ n Save. I loved the idea that Ziploc came out with a few years ago, but I hated that I would have to purchase new plastic bags al the time in order to achieve the vacuum seal affect; Zevro has perfected the concept with plastic containers. Same concept but no additional cost.

I got the Vac ‘ n Save set of 8 container to check out. Right of the back when I got it, I knew it would be a cool product. The lids all stack and the bowls do as well. Now but how does it work? How do I know the air is really out of my bowl? After all, anyone can send me a vacuum pump and say it works… Well, it took me about 10 minutes playing with the bowls when it hit me ” The lid pulled itself towards the inside of the bowl and when I hit the release button for the air in the middle of the bowl, it made a shhhhhh sound and you could clearly see the lid expanding back to the regular shape.” It was so cool, I must have played with it for a good 30 min. I one bowl to the office the next day to show the girls and we all had a ball removing the air and checking out the product.

This is defiantly a money saver, if you buy in bulk you can save a bundle of money and never ever have to buy any of the plastic bags to go with it. The Zevro bowls go from Dishwasher to fridge, Freezer and Microwave all in one bowl. You will never have to transfer your leftovers into a freezer safe bowl, you can use the Vac’ n Save bowls/ containers and cool the leftover, remove the air, stick in the freezer and next time you are ready to reheat pop it in the microwave and you are good to go.

I love it, I love the concept of Freezer to Fridge and love that I can keep my veggies last longer when I remove the air. The Bowl/ container set comes with a hand held pump that is easy enough to use, my Toddler used it all day today J She had a ball helping me prep for the review. The other nice thing, the bowls/ containers stack nicely on top of each other making it neat and clean in the Fridge/ Freezer but they also when not in use stack neatly inside each other, the lids also stack very well. Love the time and storage saving aspect of this. Overall this is a wonderful product and would be a great wedding present or even a Mother’s Day gift.

So, if you are tiered of tossing out the Veggies or the cheese because it got bad faster than expected, give the Zevro Vac’ n save a try, I bet you will love them as much as we did.
