Monday Meal Plan & review for 30 meals in one Day

May 9, 2011 By Melanie Roberts 7 Comments

Last week wasn’t really a good week for our Meal Plan; no idea why. We’ve been using the Meal Plan for a good 9+ month and it always worked perfect; the past week I don’t think we made anything on out plan… So many unforeseen things came up. However it wasn’t a bad thing other then we had no clue and were hassling around on what to cook for supper. We have a large stockpile so it wasn’t a big deal. We didn’t go out to eat we just tossed some quick dinners together and threw them on the table J we survived… That’s the nice thing, the Meal Plan can be a wonderful tool and guide, but is also flexible and you can change things at a moment’s notice…

This week we are doing things a little different, we teamed up with Dinner is Ready – 30 Meals in One Day for reviewing their newest product. Although this book & Computer software is geared towards Freezer cooking, it can be used on any regular weeknight dinner preparation, too.

I would love to use the Freezer cooking method, but honestly I have no idea when to squeeze it in, so how we are handling this in our house, we will cook 6 different recipes from the Dinner is Ready book and double the recipe, one half will be dinner, the other half will go in the freezer for another day. Yes, not the same as finishing 30 Meals in ONE day but that’s the best a busy mom can do to get started.

Just to give you a little climps of what this product can do, check out 30 Meals in One Day to get an idea and come back next week for our review & Giveaway J If you like the product and just can’t wait, for our review, I have another little goodie for you. You know I’m frugal and love to be cheap, I have a coupon that is for ALL my 2Boys+1Girl=OneCrazyMom readers. It’s a super HOT coupon so make sure to use it before it expires.

Here is the coupon info:
Save $5 of any $12 purchase if you usecode: YLDSN

That makes for an awesome deal since all the products are fairly cheap. They have wonderful products like 30 Meals in One Day, Lunch is ready or On the Side, they also have a wonderful Software program to a companion the books… Cant’ wait to finish my review and show it all to you.

What I can tell you I just finished my Meal Plan, this is what it looks like in the 30 Meal in One Day Software

Doesn’t that look cool?? It was so easy…. Be sure to check out 30 Meals in One Day and then come back next week for the entire review & the Giveaway.

This week we will eat the recipes from the 30 Meals in One Day

Monday: Almost Ravioli with Salad and Bread

Tuesday: Swedish Meatballs with Salad & Bread

Wednesday: Bacon Meat Loaf, Mashed Potatoes and Salad

Thursday: Chicken Cacciatore – Crockpot Meal

Friday: Beef Noodle Onion Bake

Saturday: Meatballs in Sour Cream, Potatoes and salad

Sunday: At Mimi’s house- Mom’s night off J

Doesn’t that sound yummy and simple…?? I can’t wait to check it all out

    Hey Melanie,
that sounds really interesting. I look forward to reading your review. I’ve done month at a time cooking a couple times, and it’s pretty cool, but I find I don’t use all the meals and then they get lost in the bottom of the freezer. 🙁
