Garlic Bread bowls filled with Spaghetti #Recipe

November 14, 2012 By Melanie Roberts 13 Comments

Pizza Garlic Bread Bowls

I just had to share what my Teen’s created for dinner the other night. The Boys kept telling us how much they wanted to cook for us, so we told them to come up with an idea and Saturday they could cook for us. I honestly didn’t expect anything special, but the boys had been thinking about dinner for days to come up with something different, simple and something of their own.

So, Saturday came and the boys delivered these delicious Garlic Bread Bowls filled with Spaghettis to the dinner table. They where delicious… did I say we loved them? I just had to share the idea with you guys, it was something different, but soo good.

These Garlic Bread Bowls filled with Spaghetti would be a great snack during the busy Holiday Season or to bring along for a Holiday party, I bet they will be a hit; I know they where in our home.

How to make them

  1. Make your Spaghetti meat sauce like you usually do, use a jar or make your own Tomato sauce, brown the meat and make pasta.  ~ Just like making spaghetti dinner.
  2. Take some Kaiser rolls or water rolls, and scoop a hole out of the bread; the boys mentioned that it was easier to create a hole in the bottom of the bread; they of course ate the inside…clean it out nicely, so you have a bowl left.
  3. Spread Garlic butter on the inside of your Bread Bowls, don’t be shy, get it all in there to cover the bowl; place in the oven at 350F for about 5-8 minutes to get the bread crunchy and the garlic butter melted.
  4. Once the garlic is melted and the bread crunchy, take out of the oven and fill your spaghettis into the bread bowl, sprinkle with Cheese and put back in the oven for maybe 5 more minutes to get the cheese melted.

That’s it… when the bowls come out of the oven, they are crunchy, garlicky and delicious.. all in one dish… SUPER Yummy; you should try it. best part.. the kids did it all on their own; all I had to do was sit down and eat.. so get your Kids involved in the dinner preparations as well and you will be surprised what the outcome will be.

That’s wonderful! They look so nummy, I’m sure my family will enjoy this recipe, too. Maybe I can get my boys to do the cooking, too- that would be lovely!
