Always have and always will love Capri Sun now you can #seethegoodness #caprisunmom

A few weeks ago, I send my friend Pam to connect with our friends at Capri Sun and we found out a lot of amazing facts about the company and the product. This week I decided to take a closer look at the inside.

I’ve always been a big fan of Capri Sun, the foil drink pack that generated in my home country Germany, back in the 60’s and has made it’s way to the US in the 80’s. What I really didn’t know until now and I’m a little embarrassed to say that. How different Capri Sun is from the other drink pack companies.

We all know what fruit punch looks like in a bottle or from other companies, but have you ever opened a Capri Sun drink pack to actually see what the juice looks like? Until I saw the clear bottom pouch, the new invention from Capri Sun, so you can see all the goodness inside and eliminate any guessing about prior rumors of mold, dirt or whatnot. The new pouch will keep you in the clear and that’s when I saw the inside of a Capri Sun juice for the very first time. Be honest, how often do you open a drink pack to take a look at the actual juice?? Yep.. thought so. I couldn’t believe when I saw the Fruit Punch flavor that it wasn’t bright red like I’m used to. I was surprised that the flavor was light not sweet at all.

I quickly grabbed a few of the other drink pouches that have yet to receive the makeover with the new Clear Bottom Pouch to see what they looked like and WOW.. is all I can say. I opened the Roaring waters and it was clear…. completely clear!! Did you guess that? I would have thought there would be maybe a slight discoloring, NOPE.. clear!! The grape juice wasn’t any different it wasn’t that fake bright purple that we are all used to from other drink juices. I just had to share this, I was sooo amazed and excited at the same time that I made a decision right then and there, not only because I already loved the company, but this is the drink for my family from now on.

Capri Sun makes it super easy to please everyone in your family. Capri Sun comes in many flavors and different varieties including Capri Sun Original, Roarin’ Waters Flavored Water Beverage, Super V Fruit and Vegetable Juice Drink and 100% Juice. My favorite will always be the Capri Sun Original Orange, the one that started it all. Always brings back childhood memories and I’m so glad that I can relay the same memories with my kids now and create new memories along the way.

Another Fun Fact… Did you know

One thing that I really like about the brand is that they care about the environment and found a unique way to recycle and repurpose the pouches. Pouches can be sent to a company called TerraCycle who turns the pouches into useful products like lunch totes and bags.

Your school can sign up for this special program and collect Capri Sun packages from students. The school then sends them in using a pre-paid envelope. In turn the school will get money for the pouches that they submit. Not only does the school make money, it keeps the pouches out of landfills and it teaches students about recycling.
