August with Netflix #StreamTeam flew by with Beat Bugs

Boy, August sure flew by. I’m almost late in telling you what all the fun things we watched this month. It sure was busy between constant power outages due to storms, the kids back to school and trying to get a new routine going. Netflix was by our side. #StreamTeam

However, we did manage to make time for a few of our favorite Netflix shows this month. So what, we are a little late reporting back to you, but these shows are all up and running and we can’t wait to hear which one you watched first.

So without further ado, here are our favorite Netflix shows for the month of August:

• Beat Bugs ~ This is a Netflix original and boy is it fun. We made our own instruments from cardboard and household items like yogurt cups and just played along. My daughter had a blast. This one is AWESOME!! Don’t wanna miss it.
• The Little Prince  ~ This was my favorite when I was younger so I was super excited to share this with my daughter. She sure loved it and couldn’t get enough of the Little Prince. A classic and a must see!
• Project Mc2 ~ This has been my daughter’s favorite show ever since the first few episodes aired earlier in the year. She is totally hooked on learning all about STEM topics. Love when she takes on fun experiments, especially on rainy days.
• Ask the Storybots ~ This is a fun series for little ones wondering about everyday things like “Why do we brush our teeth” and “Why does night happen” along so many more questions. They are all being answered. We loved it, colorful, entertaining and great for the younger crowd, but my daughter learned a thing or two as well.
• Dawn of the Croowds ~ This is a cute series for the entire family, check it out for a Friday movie night with the little ones, you all will love it.
• Ever after High ~ This is my daughter’s must watch show along with Project Mc2, perfect for the elementary schooler. Check it out the next rainy afternoon and you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Now you know our favorite shows that we streamed during the last few weeks of summer vacation. We sipped on our homemade Iced Tea and tried to stay cool as much as we could.
