Catch all the dirt & dust bunnies with the Shark Rocket #ByeByeDirt

Boy, the Holidays are upon us and I know many will have Christmas parties and gatherings at the house. I know we will have many friends and people stop by during this season and with 3 dogs and 3 kids my house always needs cleaning. I’m a bit OCT when it comes to a clean house and no matter how sick I’m or how bad my Lupus flares may be; I will pull my strength and at least vacuum the house. I know crazy… but I hate dust, dirt and anything that comes with it. Dust Bunnies and I aren’t on really good terms, I try to catch them and they run as fast as they can and I swear they hide in the dogs fur until I’m done and then they come back out laughing at me “nananana”…. ever felt that way, too?

Well, let me give you a secret that I recently discovered and it’s too good to keep under wraps any longer; this is by far one of my all time favorite cleaning tool, besides my beloved Shark Steam cleaner. It’s the brand new, super cool and totally amazing and worth every penny Shark Rocket!! I have to admit, I’m a bit partial to the Shark brand and all their amazing products, not only because I was asked to review this amazing vacuum, no, I have been a fan of Shark and their products for many, many years. I remember 10 years ago when hubby and I got married I had a shark canister vacuum on my registry and that was the only item I wanted soo badly that I told hubby I would buy it after the wedding if we wouldn’t get it. I love their products, the power; the customer service is outstanding (Yes… I had to give them a try a few years ago when my extension tube broke in half, no question asked, no long wait on the line and within 2 days I had an entire set of replacement tools in my mailbox, not just a replacement tube, nope an entire set of spare tools… AMAZING!!).

Anyway, that was a little background into the Shark Company and that I truly stand behind their products and LOVE them! To also give you another view point, I’ve owned other vacuums over my years of cleaning from Dyson to Hoover to no brand name, you name it I used it. Sometimes I bought one because the price was cheap and I needed a vacuum, sometimes I decided enough of the cheap stuff, let’s get an expensive one and be done for 5 years … but I always ended up within a short period of time with a Shark and can honestly say the price is ALWAYS right and I have never been disappointed with their vacuums, they really never lose suction, you totally can believe what the guy at the late night infomercial says, because every little bit is true…. hahaha… Now that I have gotten all of this off my chest, I think it’s time to let you know about the newest member of the Shark family, Rocket.

The Shark Rocket didn’t get its name just because it is a cool tool; it truly cleans like a rocket. This small 8 pound vacuum (that’s with all the tools attached) is a powerhouse full of cleaning power. What I love the most about the Shark Rocket is if you have bare floors, like I do in 90% of my house, no dust bunny will be left behind. I’ve used many powerful vacuums but in the end, dust and dirt that was small, was left behind. I know we’ve all been there, cleaned the house for hours, swept, vacuumed, moped just to walk barefoot and feel all the nitty gritty on your feet… ugh, makes me soo mad. But have no fear, the new ROCKET is here and will solve all those issues.

Not only will the bare floor tool pick up dirt and dust, it will also pick up small hair and dust bunnies; a special attachment called “Dust away” is similar to a Swiffer attached to your vacuum; a reusable microfiber cloths is attached to the tool and will grab all the dirt that is left behind even after you vacuumed your floor 3 times… trust me, after one time using the Dust away attachment mine came up really dirty; and I’ve moped and swept right before that with my Mop and old vacuum!!

The filter is reusable and easily switched out for cleaning. I have never owned a vacuum where it was THAT easy to pull out the filter and even gave instructions how to put it back together. LOVED it! The dirt tank is right on top, making it easy to empty once it’s full; the tank is clear letting you easily see once it needs to be emptied.

The Shark Rocket comes with many accessories from the bare floor Dust Away tool to the Carpet tool that is super easy to use on carpet both short hair as well as long hair carpet. Gee, this tool almost runs itself across the carpet, super cool. Everything you need to clean your entire house from top to bottom is included in the box.

But, that’s not all… this vacuum will quickly turn from a full size upright cleaning machine to a handheld powerhouse that will let you clean the car, the couch, behind small spaces and anything you can imagine, you can clean now. Between the full size tools and the handheld tools this Vacuum has you covered from top to bottom and then some. I truly LOVE it. I’ve always had a hard time vacuuming the house because of my Fibro and Lupus pain, vacuuming is very stressful for me and takes a lot out of me, I’m super happy with the new lightweight Shark Rocket and I can happily announce that I was able to clean my entire house with this vacuum in one sweep. The cord is long as well, it will reach almost throughout my entire house making it easy to move from room to room without grabbing the cord, unplugging, plugging back in.

I could go on for hours, I’m THAT impressed with the Shark Rocket and if you are asking for one tool from Santa this year, this one should be it!! It will make your life soo much easier and I haven’t even told you the price yet. You will love the price; are you ready? For this powerhouse of a vacuum, with all the attachments for a full size vacuum, a Dust away vacuum, a handheld vacuum that is only 8 pounds and can be easily used by your preschooler you will not spend $300, you will not spend $ 200, it is only….$159.99!! This also comes with a 5 year (!!!) warranty. Pretty Amazing, hu?

Can you tell that I’m super excited?? It’s easy to get excited over something that is AMAZING and truly holds up to my standards and does what the package claims it would; Shark is THAT company that always holds up to my standards and for more information be sure to visit them on the Web and maybe friend them on Facebook or Tweet along on Twitter.

You (or Santa) can pick up this amazing Shark Rocket through the online store, Amazon.com or many retailers across the nation, I saw it at Target the other day, too.

Would love to hear if you have used Shark products in your house and your thoughts about your vacuum; which one do you like best? Let’s chat…

I love Shark products too and they do a great job keeping my house clean. I think I am going to be on the lookout for this one because we are in the market for a new vacuum.

I could sure use a shark in my house, along with someone to come and clean for me too. I have never owned a shark but now, I think I want one. Maybe Santa will bring it to me.

Yes.. My Dyson was heavy, too and only lasted 14 months before the motor burned up.. they wouldn’t honor the warranty so I’m back to my big love..the shark 🙂

I have heard really great things about Shark vacuums. I originally wanted a Dyson when my vacuum dies but have been also been looking into the Sharks as well. Thanks for the review.

It’s not heavy with that big part on the top of it? I think that would be my only concern. Otherwise it looks like a really awesome vacuum cleaner!
