I know a lot of families are struggling with raising little ones with Autism and Asperger’s. This book is a wonderful collection of 101 Inspirational Stories for parents that are raising little ones. I have to be honest, I don’t know much at all about Autism or Asperger’s. I have a few friends kids that have either Autism or Asperger’s, but I’m not familiar with how difficult it is day in and day out when your little precious baby has this diagnosis.
The book was a great read for me, I learned quit a bit and how the children behave and how to deal with it, but I know the book is like a Bible to anyone that has to go through this day in and day out. I highly recommend if you believe your little one has signs of Autism or Asperger’s to read this brand new Chicken Soup of the Soul book, it will help answer so many of your questions like:
-
Getting the diagnosis
-
Therapies and Tips from parents who have been there
-
the amazing talents and interest of children with ASD
-
Challenges and successes
-
Getting help, from friends and strangers
-
funny moments
-
school and camp experiences
-
family and siblings
-
everyday moments, events and epiphanies
-
Hope and expectations and leaving the nest.
This new Chicken Soup for the Soul book really covers a wide range and gives parents hope, peace and ideas on how to raise their little ones the best they can with what they have to deal with. The book also gives you insights on how other parents deal with the situation. The author Dr. Rebecca Landa of the world-renowned Kennedy Krieger Institute brings you up to date in this special collection. She did a wonderful job and I think it is a valuable book for parents that struggle with ASD
