Our favorite family tradition-well, it’s a new one that we are starting with our kids. We like to get up super early (who doesn’t??) to see what Santa brought, where our jammies all day, eat a hot (not good for you) breakfast, and hang out together all day.
I already follow you on GFC and twitter. And I “liked” you on facebook.

my favorite xmas tradition is my mom’s advent calender. It was always so much fun putting one item from each pocket out. I love sharing that with my kids now.

My favorite tradition is the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the family heads to the local tree farm to pick out the perfect Christmas tree. We come back home and decorate the tree while listening to carols and having peanut butter cookies and hot chocolate.

we have a big family party to decorate the christmas tree the evening of thanksgiving

We love celebrating the religious aspect of it. Starting with Advent right after Thanksgiving and ending with the 12th day of Christmas on January 6. We keep our focus mainly on the tradition not on getting presents. The true meaning of Christmas is lost on many people these days–seeing Christmas trees dumped on the curb the day after. It’s really sad how commercial people have let it become.
