This is a big week for inserts! Many of us can expect to see four inserts this week including a RedPlum, two SmartSource and a General Mills insert.

Make sure that you buy at least 2 papers, that way you have 2 coupons to use for Buy One Get one Free deals and that will make the item even cheaper. A good rule of thumb is to buy one paper per family member, we have 5 people and I get 6 (remember always by in 2’s..lol) papers and that is more then enough for the sales.
Coupons do work …..I have a spreadsheet that I started at the beginning of the year, I enter everything that I buy or spend money on and my goal was to spend $100 or Less on anything we buy from groceries to toiletries, cleaning supplies etc… as of the end of August I spend $2,385.70 on everything, that even included some Christmas presents for the kids ( if I found a deal at target etc..) and our savings was $7,672.94 so far that is a saving of 76% of our weekly expenses on food, cleaning, drugstore etc.. anything you would need.
We are far below our weekly budget….
