Mitchum Love Thy Pits {Spa Certificate Giveaway}

August 22, 2011 By Melanie Roberts 74 Comments

Whether stressed, scared, bothered or nervous, armpits let you know and yet they have been largely overlooked, until now… Mitchum is encouraging you to “Love Thy Pits” with the new Advanced Control™ stick/solid antiperspirant and deodorant, providing 48 hours of protection for men and women. Formulated to go on and stay dry, Mitchum Advanced Control combines the highest level of active ingredient available in the marketplace with encapsulated fragrance technology that bursts upon contact with perspiration, helping pits navigate even the trickiest of situations with maximum strength and ultimate protection for 48 hours.

I know, this sounds like a weird review, BUT let’s face it, we ALL need it. It’s not something we can live without and why not talk about it. It’s nothing forbidden, just a little “personal”…I guess. I have no problem talking about my new best friend, Mitchum Advanced Control. I have never used this product at all. A few days ago I was asked to check it out and boy am I glad I did. I used it after the shower, like I would my normal deodorant and headed off to work.  As soon as I walked out of the house, the humidity and Florida heat just hit me, 8AM and it’s 87F, what in the world, so glad I’m protected and won’t stink once I get to the office. I had my AC in the car on high to “air” out my arms and Mitchum did an awesome job. I smelled fresh once I got to the office and was ready to start my day.

I’m convinced and need to find a deal on the Mitchum Advanced Control. It states 48 hour strength & protection. I actually had to test this out over the weekend, our water heater busted and I had no place for a shower, talking about sticky situation. I loved the protection from Mitchum Advanced Control and wasn’t worried about “stink” the entire weekend. But I sure was happy when the Water heater arrived and I could take a shower Smile ….Thanks to Mitchum for pulling me through and making the weekend without a shower pleasant to everyone around me.

    The last time I gave a speech in front of a large group was nerve-wracking, and I sure could have used some Mitchum!

    I got a phone call in the middle of getting ready to go to a meeting/appointment with an important prospective sponsor of an event I was helping organize. I spent too long on the phone, and had to scramble to get out the door… forgot deodorant and then got there to find out I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs…. ugh!! I kept my arms close to me the whole time which felt really awkward.

    I wear a polyester uniform shirt to work and the air conditioner wasn’t working last week. I couldn’t wait to get home and take off my shirt..it stunk so bad and I was worried about pit stains so I scrubbed the armpits with oxy clean when I got home.

    I remember a sticky situation back in college, when some friends and I went camping and I had the biggest crush on this one guy friend who came along. It wasn’t until the second day that I realized that I had left my deodorant at home– and that morning everyone had gone out on a hike except me and him. let me say it was probably like 90 degrees that day, and he asked if I wanted to go climb some boulders with him. I said yes, of course, but within a half hour I was totally dripping with sweat and could smell myself– and it was not good! I managed to stay a couple feet away from him until the others got back and I asked a girlfriend to borrow her deodorant. But it was a close call! We ended up dating but I never told him this story. So funny to remember now!

    My, by far, WORST sticky moment was at my senior prom. I used some cheap deoderant and it ended up bleaching the arm pits of my dress. I had a dark purple dress on so yes EVERYONE noticed! Needless to say, I have no pictures from prom lol.
