Monday Meal Plan

March 7, 2011 By Melanie Roberts 8 Comments

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. It was just beautiful here in sunny Florida.  We took the kids to SeaWorld Saturday to get out of the house and enjoy the bautiful sunshine… it really was great. I’m still battling this cold/ Allergie thing, no idea what it is, feels like a sinus infection but it clears up during the day and I’m all clear and at night I can’t breath… I feel kind of okay, just the nose runns away and I have this horrible cough…. I wish it would move on soon… I haven’t been sick in years….Any home remedies you have for Allergies or co? Would love to hear them and try it.

This week is another busy week at the Crazy Mom’s house. We don’t have a fancy Meal Plan this week, but hope you like one or the other thing…. Happy Monday and Thanks for checking in. I would love to hear what you’re plans for supper are this week.

Monday: Sweet & Saucy Ribs with Rice
Tuesday: Burgers & Fries-  The Teen will cook tonight 🙂
Wednesday: Chipped Chicken in cream sauce – German Dinner
Thursday: Scalloped Potatoes & ham in the crockpot
Friday: Po Boy Sandwiches- My Tween will cook tonight 🙂
SATURDAY: Spaghetti, Garlic Bread and Salad
Sunday: Mimi’s House/ Mom’s night OFF!!!!

This Meal Plan will be linked up with I’m an Organizing Junkie

It must be nice when they get old enough to help with the cooking. My kiddo is only 4, but I’ve already got her in the kitchen. 🙂 She’ll be thrilled when she gets to cook a meal. I wonder, what age did you start letting your kids help cook meals?

Hi Jackie.. thanks for the visit… well my Teen just got a cookbook and he wants to do it, so this is actually our first attempt..lol.. the Tween has been cooking on an doff for a few years and he loves it…. But the toddler already loves to be part of it,t oo… I would say the earlier the better have them help cut veggies, or pull items for you.. they love it 🙂 Will keep ya posted how the Teen is doing, will post about it here during the week…..

Mmm! I’m putting ribs on my menu for next week. Thanks for the inspiration. I checked you out because you are #1 on this week’s MPM list! You were quick! 😀 I have a 13 y/o and told her just last week that she would soon take charge of one meal a week. Do your helpers pick their own menu when they make the meal? She’ll probably pick chicken wraps. 🙂 Thanks for sharing your menu! ~~Rhonda
