From the creators of the smash-hit series The Office and Extras and based on the original record-breaking podcasts, comes the new animated comedy series, The Ricky Gervais Show. The series is an animated version of the original podcasts that earned a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most downloads. It is voiced by Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, and colleague and friend Karl Pilkington whose offbeat musings inspire many of the storylines which include the merits of 20th century inventions; Karl’s suggestion for population control; how philosophy has evolved through the ages and not forgetting Karl’s perfectly round head!

So, now that you got an idea what this show is all about, if you haven’t heard or seen it yet. I wasn’t too sure who Ricky Gervais is, I know I’m lame and guess what frankly I’m too busy to keep up with all the new and cool things, so don’t judge me 🙂 .. but I love comic shows and love a good laugh, so one afternoon hubby and my Teen and I sat down and watch the show together; Hubby and Teen laughed and laughed and had a great time, me… I just got bored, I guess it’s a guy thing. It may just be that way in my house? … It’s not a bad show, but you either love it or you don’t… there is no in between.
If you are a fan of Ricky Gervais, you deffiantly will love this show and enjoy it, but if you aren’t a fan and then a women to boot, you may not enjoy it…
It’s fun for an afternoon to spend with your family * the older kids, not the Tween and under* but I wouldn’t pull this out for a date night or on a first date 🙂 . That being said, I’m just a mom … and my hubby and son loved it…
I also, again as most of my reviews, did some research and found that most reviewers or comments made by women sounded just like me.. and the men all raved and LOVED it… so if you are looking for something for hubby or your grown boys.. I bet they would love it.. it’s the guy humor and things guys talk about and love…. Would love to hear your opinion if you have seen or heard about the show…
