The Holidays are fast approaching and we have something totally different planned. Electronic devises like Smartphones, iPads, and tablets are quickly taking over the homes of many Americans and why spend a lot of extra money on kids toys that require you to buy extra games and cartridges. I know we all know what I’m talking about and yes, we have an entire cabinet full of them. Do you think my kids use them? Nope… but what they do use is the iPad or their iPods and that gave me the idea to create a Holiday Gift Guide geared directly towards Apple and Android Apps for your little ones age 4 and up.
Let’s face it, a lot of American Families are struggling to buy Christmas Presents this year, so this will be a simple and very cost effective alternative and your kids will still get a fun gift, education and all the other things you are used to.
Starting November 1st, I will review Children’s Apps and post them on our Holiday Gift Guide for you to see which made the list and which one we didn’t really care for. Some will be a Free download, some will be only a few dollars, but that should get you some ideas on how to save money for Christmas this year and still have a wonderful time. Another nice thing, these App’s can be purchased by anyone for your little one to enjoy, making it easy for grandparents to send some extra gifts if they are across the country, or even as a last minute gift; since the download is instant you can even wait till Christmas Eve to purchase and make a decision, how easy is that?
I sure hope this will help you out a bit in deciding on what App’s to get for your little ones and save a little bit of money along the way.
So check back often after November 1st and check out our Holiday Gift Guide for the Kids App’s. Another alternative is to buy iTunes Gift cards, they are easily wrapped and the kids have something to open and then load the games of your choice.
Also, don’t forget to check out the Free App of the Week, you never know what you may find.

This great! I’m always looking for new apps for my ipad for my little ones to play on, and I’ve noticed that they’re a great teaching tool my two year old learned his animals from p,aging a preschool app on the ipad
