Dash generously agrees to take care of Mags’s hamster, Lulu, while Mags goes out of town. Thinking this new responsibility to be easy, Dash doesn’t pay attention while Mags explains the various instructions regarding Lulu’s care. When Lulu escapes from her cage and goes missing, Dash learns that being responsible means doing your best to keep your promises.
“CAN’T DO IT ALL”
When Five announces he is celebrating the five-year anniversary of the Dog Gone Pizzeria, Mags has an idea: the Turbo Dogs should throw Five a surprise party at their clubhouse! All the Turbo Dogs volunteer to help, but Mags insists on arranging the entire party herself. When she gets overwhelmed, Mags realizes she does need her friends’ help. Everyone works together and the party is a smashing success.
If you haven’t seen Turbo Dog, let me tell you a little about the new show.
- The Turbo Dogs were created by the same folks responsible for Veggie Tales and 3-2-1 Penguins.
- The show is based on a book called Racer Dogs by Bob Kolar.
- While the dog residents of Racerville are all wild about racing, not all of them have the ability to be Turbo Dogs. To find out why, you’ll have to watch!
- Turbo Dogs will be translated into Spanish for the Telemundo channel, and it will also air on ION TV and qubo!
It’s off to Racerville with NBC’s new animated series about a town full of mutts who are wild about car racing! My Toddler goes bow wow for Turbo Dogs! If your little one is big into Nascar, this show will be a hit with them as well, boy or girl alike. Besides a cute new kids show, this fun racing show isn’t all about racing, in each story the friends face challenges and learn what friendship is really all about.
The First episode “In What a Lulu”, Mags, the Girl was offered to be featured on a popular TV show, however she would have to leave town for a few days, she unwillingly declined because she had responsibilities at home, who would take care of her hamster Lulu? When her friend Dash found out, he generously offered to watch Lulu for Mags while she would be on the TV show. Mags gladly accepted and dropped her hamster Lulu off at Dash’s house shortly thereafter; Let’s say Dash had a few mishaps while watching Lulu the hamster and he lost the hamster. Luckily he found Lulu before Mags arrived home. Dash did the right thing and told Mags about the problem he had and Mags instead of being up sad or mad she understood what Dash went through and even gave him a second chance to watch Lulu next time she is in need of care for Lulu.
The Second Episode we watched was “Can do it All”, this episode is something I can relate to, we all try to handle things all on our own just to find out we really should ask for help. Mags attempts to plan a party all by herself, and soon she realized she can’t do it all. Kids will be reminded that help is a good thing and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Wonderful lesson behind this episode and in the end it all worked out perfect after everyone lend a helping hand.
My Toddler can’t wait to watch the next episode and see what the Turbo Dogs will do next. You should check them out as well I bet your little one will enjoy it while mom can take a break. Click here to check your local listings.
I was provided with a screener DVD for the purpose of my honest review, no other compensation was nor will be provided.
