Well, I can’t believe that it took us 15 years to make the trip back home to Germany and it went by in the blink of an eye; we are already back home in Central Florida for over 4 weeks now, and all we have left are a lot of memories, millions of pictures and all the loved ones we left behind. So this weekend that’s what I did, I pulled out some of my favorite pictures from our trip and I wanted to share them with all my Monday Meal Plan buddies and all my readers; so you too can dream and wander off into another world for a few minutes…..
Isn’t it beautiful? We sure had a blast and if you want to check out some of our posts from Germany and all our adventures while we where there this summer, head on over HERE and while you are there, why not check out my German Recipe corner; you may find something different for dinner this week.
While I dreamed this weekend about my pictures and our Germany trip, I decided to run into Michaels and pick up a few of their amazing canvases, which where in a 2 pack and BOGO, perfect for the Mod Podge Canvas Mount, making my pictures look like a million bucks… will have to share the process with you soon; you won’t believe how simple it is, all you need is a picture, Canvas that is the same size or bigger and Mod Podge and you are in business… why spend hundreds on the “Store made” Canvas Pictures…. Super simple.
Okay, after all those beautiful pictures and memories I have to get back to realty this week. We are starting school this Thursday for the Teen’s and the Pre-K Princess will start on Monday, so lots to do and lots to prepare and back to our Crazy Old Self we will be….. Are your kids already back to school?
I kind of like this time of year; Once the kids head back to school, fall and all the fun things as well as cooler days are just around the corner and of course my favorite holiday “Christmas” is only a few short month away. Are you looking forward to fall this year?
In anticipation of a super crazy and busy week with Orientation, last minute back to school shopping and then trying to get everyone on the bus on time, I decided to have easy and simple dinners this week, like the last few weeks, Pinterest was and is a big inspiration and has helped us stretch our budget with things we had on hand, yet come up with yummy new creations… Have I told you I LOVE Pinterest and I’m a Pinterest addict? I’m stopping by for a visit from Organizing Junkie today.
My back to school days are long gone. I sometimes miss taking our son shopping. Especially for school supplies and a new cell phone each year! We had so much fun.
It’s another 107 degree day in Las Vegas. Man! Am I looking forward to cooler temps. Unfortunately, we don’t usually start cooling down till late September or October.
Your menu for the week sounds delicious!

Pizza puffs recipe is printed for later this week. I’ll see what else I can toss in from the garden… green peppers (okay, neglected garden, so hints of red already), fresh tomatoes, onions… hopefully the kids will still eat them!

I hear Germany is very beautiful and you must have been very young when you left. I’d like to visit there someday.
