Simple and in no time dish up dinner with Pizza on the Grill #Recipe

Last week we utilized our grill all week. It has been super hot in Central Florida and trying to eliminate extra heat in the house, the grill was the best solution. We never grilled pizza before and thought it would be a great way to see if it really works well. Friday night is always pizza night at our house and so we did a little experiment that turned out really, really.. I mean, really well.

The Pizza was done in about 10 minutes and bubbly, hot and delicious. The Teen was able to make his very own and he had a blast. So if you have teen’s in the home, get them with you on the grill and let them create their very own pizza.

We had all our ingredients with us at the grill, from shredded and sliced cheese to roast beef and anything else you want on your pizza. We used fresh dough that we picked up at our local bakery and it worked very well.

We stretched our dough and put a little oil on one side of the dough before we put it directly on the hot gas grill griddle. Took about two – three minutes and the bottom was done, golden brown and ready to flip. Don’t forget to brush the other side with a little bit of oil before you flip it.

Now add your toppings, sauce and cheese… no time to waste.. get it all on and get it done…. Close the lid for a few minutes to let the cheese melt…..

After about 2-3 minutes on the side with the lid closed.. your Pizza will be done!! Super simple and takes really no time at all. This was our very first try and I’m sure we will come up with many more ideas over the next few month, but for a first try I think it turned out really well. Taste was AMAZING, too!! Talking about Fast food Home Made…lol.. can’t get any fresher and quicker then that. Enjoy!!

My Teen was proud of his very own Pizza and couldn’t wait to eat it all up. So, grab your kids and have a Pizza on the Grill this weekend… they will love it and so will you. Cleanup is a breeze, too.

I set up a “make your own pizza” night a few weeks ago and my son absolutely loved it. I’d love to try it again, but with a grill this time!

We make pizza a lot but I have never done it on the grill. That crust looks fantastic, so I’ll definitely be grilling some pizza!
